Glucosamine and Chondroitin High Strength 500mg/400mg, 365 Tablets Up to 1 Year Supply, Glucosamine Complex with Superior Chondroitin Sulphate (90% Potency), UK Made

I have had these before and I have tried others since but I always come back to these. If looking purely on price per tablet then you may feel these are a bit expensive but they actually contain more than double of the active ingredients than most other tablets, so most people only need 1 tablet a day. I need these primarily for my knee (I had most of my cartilage removed years ago) and to help offset many other age related joint issues. My hands used to ache some days and this has entirely gone, my knee doesn't lock up and the heat/pain from the joint is massively reduced. For me they have been very effective. These are not a miracle and will not suddenly cure e.g. arthritis, but in my experience they will help to reduce additional wear and tear and 'oil' the joints for easier movement. They took about 2 weeks when I first started taking them for me to notice a difference. The only downside to these tablets (for some) is their size. They are big (pictures included) and so some people may have trouble swallowing, however I have never known them to stick in the throat in any way like some tablets do.

If your after scientifically backed then you want to take 1500mg glucosamine and 1200mg chondroitin. Now keep in mind it takes a few months before you notice, maybe even 6month depending on person. But yes fixes joints so pain relief. Great size and strength when taking 3 tablets. Good quality I presume as works. Easy for myself to personally swallow. Tablet are your typical capsule shape powder form. See photo for reference next to a pound coin

Good value and I think they really do help my weak ankles. Large tablets however, too large for my wife to swallow.

Value for money

I’ve been struggling with some joint pain for the last few years. It’s largely due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis. I experience left knee pain and locking, pain in both my thumbs, back pain and some neck pain and creakiness. I’ve found that since taking these tablets for the last 4-6 weeks a lot of my pains are massively reduced. The knee pain is the worst as I couldn’t even kneel down for more than a few minutes without struggling. I can now, and have been able to up my cardio this last month. The thumb pain is greatly reduced and I have better mobility which has resulted in me finally being able to lift weights again. My neck feels a lot better. Unfortunately it hasn’t touched the back pain, though, but that could just mean the pain isn’t linked to bone/spinal, so more physio trips for that one. I can’t recommend this product enough. Admittedly I haven’t tried other brands, so this isn’t a comparison review. I picked these because it seemed cheaper to buy in bulk and am very happy I did.

Would recommend as I feel it helps .. but having scratching side affects. Would continue and see how I feel .

I'd taken Glucosamine and Chondroitin for many years as a preventative measure but when I ran out late in 2019 decided not to bother buying any more as I wondered if they actually did any good. All I can say is that by mid January I was experiencing some discomfort in my left knee when walking. Having now bought some more G&C and taken 3 tablets a day for a week, the pain has now gone again. I'll certainly keep up with these tablets at the 1 a day I was taking along with a high strength vitamin D3 and an Omega 3. Seems to work well for me.
