Easy to build and fit, looks great when set up far better than the normal fireguard, looks the part it will definitely keep my 7 month old safe from the fire

I purchased this gate in size "Large" to go around my log burner to stop my children going near. To Start with it didn't arrive until 3 days after "expected delivery date", but this wasn't too much of a problem for me, just a little annoyance. When I received the guard the box was open at the top. Whether that was from customs (was being delivered from Germany) or not I'm not sure but it was originally stapled shut so I would think it would have to have been opened deliberately. On opening the box everything was packaged nicely and although the instructions were a bit confusing at first, it was relatively easy to assemble. I guess it's easy for me to say that as my husband assembled it, and he did say that a picture of how it went together would have just been easier! The guard itself is great. it's slightly taller than a normal stair gate but not by much. it's easy for an adult to open and I'm hoping my 3 year old (who has mastered all of our stair gates) does not figure this one out! Make sure you have a drill handy as you do need to screw it to the wall. It can seem a little slack when in place but we pulled it quite hard and there is no way our kids could pull that down. It looks great as well as being functional. I would definitely recommend this product.

I needed a solution for working from home as I have a lounge/dinner in one - I am in the shielded group so had no option to go into work and this solved the problem I was facing. We do not have a spare room so I could only work down stairs. It fitted the whole width as you can see from the images it comes with all the fixings we have two boys so it stops them from coming down to where my computers are and crawling under the table which is a safety issue - so I can still work and see them at the same time. I like the fact you can put into the shape you need so going forward it is a gate I could still utilise even if I wasn’t still working from home. It’s sturdy and I like that it’s no overly tall so as adults we can step over it rather than Lee using the gate, as you can see from the images it isn’t imposing which was a worry my husband had due to it being our living space we have actually got used to it being there. I would recommend this baby gate to family and friends as it does offer a solution to a lot of problems if you have children or not.

Brilliant piece of kit. We use it for our stairs in our holiday rental, which have no obvious way of fitting a stairgate. When not needed it can't be folded together, but has to lie completely flat somewhere or put behind something for storage. But all that is left on the wall is a flat coloured bracket (colour of your gate) - perfect for our holiday rental home when not needed. It also has extension options. So for example downstairs we added on a mini-20cm extension. Door can fit anywhere in the combination. The brackets are flexible, making fitting easy and the wall bracket holes have allowance for a screw that might end up being slightly too high or low. Only downside are the rubbish, pale instructions, so that lost the final star for me. So here are a few tips: When you open your box you will find: Your gate; 3 loose bars; 2 side pieces connected with the 4th bar (no it is not missing!); 4 finishing tops, 2 end wall brackets. First you need to work out how to separate the two side pieces. Take hold of the middle connecting bar and pull upwards into / towards the cone shaped section which releases the bottom of the bar just enough to slip it out of its holding base. That's it! To connect the gate & side pieces together. Line up the two pieces so the top and bottom of your gate and side section fall flush on each other. At the top is the cone shaped section, the bottom a flat section. When the fittings are flush, insert your bar into the cone section first adding pressure to it, pulling in an upward direction which lifts the bar just enough to fit into the bottom section. The end sections are finished off in the same way but make sure you put the wall bracket connector onto it first, before inserting the bar. Well worth the money. Comes in all sizes and flexible with available extensions. There is no limit to where these could be used around the house.

we bought this gate (and 2 extra side pieces) to fit around our very large fire place where we have a log burner. My husband found it really easy to install, its extremely robust and does not get hot when the log burner is on full (the metal gets warm but not hot). the gate is secure and it looks ok with the general room decor (as much as a baby gate can do!) Really pleased with this product, so much so that my parents and my in-laws both bought the same one for their fire places too!

We bought this as a fire guard. After we unpacked it we downloaded the OnBox app, put in the supplied code and got very easy to follow instructions. Once assembled, it's easy to adjust the various angles to make it fit perfectly and the wall fixation system is very secure and easy to use. The door mechanism is child proof but easy to use giving easy access, it looks very good, built of quality materials and is very sturdy. It came all the way to Lanzarote without any problems, it was well packaged and arrived ahead of time. Can't wait for the grandkids to arrive at Christmas and have a roaring fire without having to worry about their safety. Strongly recommend.

Nicely made product, quality is very good. We purchased this as we have a staircase with glass sides which is very difficult to attach a standard stairgate to. We needed a stairgate for occasional use when the kids stay here & we wanted it to be taken down easily when not required & leave minimal impact on the decor. This fits the bill perfectly, the two pictures below show the brackets which remain on the walls in the top landing when the stairgate is taken down.

A pesar de que el precio puede parecer un poco elevado comprándolo con otras alternativas, nada más abrir la caja te das cuenta de la calidad del producto. La barrera es metálica y los anclajes son de plástico. Se notan los buenos materiales, bien acabados y sin rebabas. El conjunto pesa bastante. La hemos colocado en el suelo sin anclar a la pared y pesa lo suficiente como para que un niño pequeño no pueda tumbarla. La puerta se abre fácilmente hacia los dos lados con una sola mano y se mantiene abierta en ángulo de 90 grados dejando suficiente espacio para pasar a limpiar la estufa o llenar el depósito de pellets. Las instrucciones vienen muy completas . Pueden parecer complicadas al abrir el manual, pero es debido a las muchas posibilidades de montaje que ofrece la barrera. En cuanto sabes qué forma quieres darle a la barrera el montaje es rápido y fácil (la monté yo solo en 10 minutos).

J'ai acheté cette barrière dans un but très précis, j'ai un fils autiste qui a peur de mon chien, et lorsque mon fils est là le week end, mon chien doit rester bloqué dans son parc 24/24. J'ai donc acheté cette barrière pour séparer mon salon en 2, afin que mon fils soit d'un côté et le chien de l'autre, mes 2 autres enfants pouvant passer par le portillon pour aller d'un demi salon à l'autre, donc le but était de démonter la barrière le lundi matin et de la remettre le vendredi soir. Je pensais que la barrière se pliait comme un accordéon mais en réalité non. Alors le point positif pour ce qu'elle est censée faire à la base, c'est à dire protéger un enfant d'un endroit dangereux, le fait qu'elle ne se plie pas une fois installée, permet de renforcer la sécurité, un enfant ne peut pas la plier donc accéder à une cheminée par exemple en pliant la barrière, donc pour ça, c'est à dire pour ce qu'elle est censée faire, elle est parfaite. Pour moi, ça reste un peu contraignant de l'installer et de la désinstaller. Je réfléchis à savoir si je la garde quand même ou pas, car je la trouve vraiment bien, elle est discrète, solide, facile à monter même si c'est un peu contraignant d'être obligée de le faire toutes les semaines, elle se module comme on veut. Je ne la fixe pas au mur bien entendu puisque je l'enlève la semaine, mais malgré ça, elle tient très bien et ne bouge pas. En tous cas, si dans mon cas bien particulier, j'hésite à la garder à cause du montage et démontage fréquent, je la recommande pour tous les parents d'un bébé qui ne doit pas aller à tel ou tel endroit car je la trouve vraiment parfaite pour ça. Je mets 5 étoiles même si pour mon cas, je lui mettrais 4 étoiles pour le démontage et montage hebdomadaires mais à la base, elle n'a pas été conçue pour ça, donc je ne peux pas faire autrement que lui mettre 5 étoiles pour son usage habituel.

Il pacco è arrivato puntuale e ben confezionato, il montaggio e veloce ed il risultato è ottimale, bello e solido. Inoltre, nonostante la struttura sia stata tutta l'inverno sottoposta al calore, non da assolutamente segni di scurimento. In conclusione prodotto tutto sommato costoso, ma di qualità! Wir haben uns nach langer Recherche für das Treppenschutzgitter von BabyDan entschieden. Die Einbausituation bei uns ist - der Form der Treppe geschuldet - etwas schwierig, so dass die "klassischen" Lösungen, welche rechts und links an der Wand oder dem Treppengeländer befestigt werden, für uns ausschieden. Deswegen haben wir uns dazu entschieden, einfach den gesamten Treppenaufgang abzusperren (positiver Nebeneffekt: Wir müssen uns dadurch auch um die Ecken/Kanten der Treppenstufen keine Sorgen mehr machen, da sich der Nachwuchs dort nicht mehr stoßen kann). Wir haben das BabyDan Flex L zum reduzierten Preis über Amazon Warehouse bestellt. Der Artikel wurde schnell und in einwandfreiem Zustand geliefert. Einzig die 4 Stangen, die an den beiden Gelenken bzw. den Wandbefestigungen eingeklemmt werden müssen, waren etwas verbogen. Ob da jemand die Bedienungsanleitung nicht gelesen, es mit Gewalt versucht und letztendlich resigniert und es zurückgeschickt hat? Mir auch egal ... die Stangen ließen sich mit etwas Kraftaufwand wieder in eine relativ gerade Form zurückbiegen, daher kein Punktabzug. Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Der Aufbau ist unkompliziert, wenn man vorher einen Blick in die bebilderte Anleitung wirft, und von einer einzelnen Person gut machbar. Das Teil steht stabil und macht einen soliden und wertigen Eindruck. Ich konnte keine Mängel an den Schweißnähten oder der Lackierung feststellen. Schrauben für die Wandmontage werden mitgeliefert, allerdings keine Dübel. Muss aus meiner Sicht auch nicht unbedingt sein, da die Einbausituation von Ort zu Ort ja unterschiedlich sein kann. Ich habe das Geländer auf beiden Seiten mit jeweils drei der mitgelieferten Schrauben (statt wie in der Anleitung beschrieben mit vieren) in 8er Dübeln befestigt - hält bombenfest. Für uns ist das die perfekte Lösung. Bin zufrieden und würde das Gitter wieder kaufen.
