Perfect for cycling or running
Given some of the reviews I was a little skeptical of these but I have been quite pleased. Given that it's illegal in Florida (not to mention just plain stupid no matter where you live since it makes you oblivious to the world around you) to ride with earbuds in I wanted something I could use but didn't want to spend $100. So I tried these and have been very pleasantly surprised. I generally cycle in the 18-20 mph range so, yes, there is wind noise. And there is ambient noise. But that's the whole point - to leave your ear canal open so you're aware of your surroundings. Even with that, however, I've found I can hear the music quite clearly. Much better sound quality than I expected. I can hear all of my music just fine. Also, I live in an extremely high humidity environment so I sweat a lot and it hasn't bothered these at all. Can't really speak on how long the battery life is but I generally ride 5-6 hours with them and then charge them and it's always been fine on that schedule. They also fit just fine over my ears even with sunglasses and bike helmet. No issues on comfort there at all.

Bone conduction my ass
As the title states this is just an ordinary headphone with a twist on the design. It states that it send vibrations through your skull directly to your inner ear bypassing the ear canal. Well this conducts sound through bone just as well as a loud speaker on the other side of a wall that you stick your ear against. There is no fancy tech hear that makes this different. It is a regular speaker type headphone that transmits sound through a membrane just as an external speaker would. This is only different from regular buds as these are not placed into the ear canal. Nothing fancy here..... The way it is advertised to be used is to place the speakers just in front of the ear canal as they show in the pics. Do this and you will get terrible sound quality as this does not actually transmit vibrations as the marketers would lead you to believe. I find that this is best used when the speakers are placed directly over the ear canal. You get the best sound and the quality (when used in this manner) is actually quite good and you can hear the details of the music. However, at higher volumes, the sound leakage is very apparent and quite noticeable. If this actually did "conduct through bone" I would not be able to hear the sound when the unit is in front of my face. The only reason I am keeping these is that I feel these would work well in my job where I would use these for several hours in row and thus the comfort of not having something in your ear would be desirable.

Weird dangly-wire experience.
I bout these El Cheapo headphones because I didn't know if bone conduction phones would be right for me. I wanted the situational awareness of having uncovered ears while gaming and thought I'd give these a shot. It turns out, it's exactly what I wanted and I'll be buying a fancier set when I can't stand these anymore. The following comments are following an 8 hour stretch of initial usage. There's a couple problems with these for extended use during long fixed location gaming sessions. First of all, the wire is way too short. It's clearly intended for use mounted to a device in your hip pocket. The control box (and battery) is conveniently located for that use case, but is inconvenient and inappropriate for fixed-location use. I don't want to have to remember to charge the thing every night, so I wanted to see how it would work out if it was always plugged in to micro-usb power. First, I'd have to say... It works fine while plugged in (I didn't expect that). However, the control box is annoyingly awkward while plugged in. I attached it to my shirt, but it still had that extra wire hanging out the side pulling it in odd directions. I can't really count this against the device, since it did work this way and this clearly isn't the intended use case. If the control box could optionally be extended somehow, I could fix that to the desk and just have the one lightweight wire going up to my face. That'd be nice. The sound is a little odd. I wasn't sure what to expect. These aren't speakers filling your ear hole... and it sounds a little different. I don't think I'd want to use this to listen to music, but for games and Discord (voice chat) it was just fine. After a few hours, I hardly noticed the audio quality/tambre differences, but audiophiles would be annoyed. That said, people with very deep voices vibrated the crap out of my cheek bones. (I got used to that too. And I turned them down a little.)

They have stood the test of time
I bought this I believe at least 8 years ago. They hold a charge and still look and sound great and this is after heavy usage riding on my bike. I remain impressed. Great product. Do not hesitate to buy these.

Do they sound great, no. Do they work great, yes.
These things are great for what they are designed for. I have a bit of experience in this arena as an audio engineer. Do they sound AWESOME?!? No. But that's not what they're designed for. They're designed to work at low levels and be completely open to the environment. These are the first non-over-the-ear headphone that I've bought in many years but I needed something I could ride my bike and snowboard with, without being too bulky and shutting out the outside world. It makes me very nervous if I'm moving and can't hear what's going on around me. So the other reviews are pretty much correct. You don't get incredible frequency response, if you turn them up too loud they'll tickle the side of your head and everybody will hear what you are listening to. BUT if you want some low level music in the background of your run or ride that will cut it in the sound quality department, this would be it. You can also talk to people without pulling out an earbud or stopping your music, too, which is nice. I love mine!

Fails in absolutely every respect.
Where to start? They're uncomfortable, with most of the weight pulling behind your head, the power and volume control is placed high on the cable, forcing a clip to your collar and, as noted here repeatedly, the bone conduction aspect is suspect. What it seems to be to me is really loud headphones close to your ear as opposed to in your ear. Yes, you can hear it fine but so can anyone in the same room. I seriously doubt this is how the Special Forces' equipment works. Finally, mine will not hold a charge. I purchased seven weeks ago and have worn about as many times. I give up.

Not really bone conduction
They work ok. They're not really working on bone conduction though. It's mostly just a speaker close to your ear that's playing music really loud. You can make them do bone conduction by holding them again the bone but they won't stay there with enough pressure to work like that. It's a good effort but this product has some reworking before it's ready for serious use. Side note: Having to charge my headphone just makes one more thing I have to play with. I already have a GPS watch and iPod. None of which have interchangeable charger cords. so it's more stuff to keep track of.

I'm sorry I didn't "discover" these years ago.
I'm sorry I didn't "discover" one of these years ago! I have BTE hearing aides and this headset sits well over my ears without a problem. Now I can listen to TV in stereo and hear my wife at the same time. When I wore regular headphones or ear plug headsets, my wife always wanted me to leave one side open so we could still converse. That was okay, but I was only getting half of the audio coming from the TV. My only gripe with this headset is I wish they came in different sizes. They don't fit flush against the back of my head, so resting my head in my easy chair causes them to push forward and lose contact with the bone in front of my ears. Then there's no sound. To work around this problem I have to wear them in front of my head under my chin with the pads sitting in front of my ears. Not ideal, but it works. Anyway, if they were available in different sizes, maybe a smaller set would fit tighter against the back of my head and then I could sit normally in my easy chair, hear my wife and the TV equally well, and life would be even better!

Awesome
It is a wired headset. Short review:it has a good carry case. Head phone is of nice quality. It works the same way depicted in YouTube videos. Only piece of advice, if you have kids, they won't allow you to use this. The blue blinker on the volume control attracts them a lot.

E' decisamente un msu have per chi come me ha problemi legati all'udito, ma vuole comunque ascoltare musica mentre lavora o studia o fa attività all'aria aperta.

Excellent for running and cycling
I got these for the Brighton Marathon, as they were the only headphones permitted under the rules. I'd never heard of them before. They're really good. I use them whilst cycling now. Because your ears aren't either covered or blocked, you can still hear traffic - even birdsong if the roads are quiet enough. The only issues I have are really picky; for some reason, I can't get Radio 4 very easily or well using these when I can with normal i-pod earphones (I have no idea why) - I don't listen to music radio so don't know if that's an issue with all radio stations. The other is that the clip is in the wrong place for me and I wish I could move it. I now clip the sound bar to my ID tag, as when it's on my collar, it's too high and I get a loop of cable hitting me in the face (very annoying). The sound buttons are tiny and you need to set the sound on your device, as the range of adjustment with the headphones isn't huge. Though if you go into a shop and need to have a conversation, it's easy to hit the button in the centre and mute it. But as I say, I really rate them. They've been out in all weathers including some really torrential rain. They're the only headphones that I've ever had that I feel comfortable with when running, as the headband keeps them in place and if the music isn't too loud you can still also speak to your running mate(s) if you have any.

自転車に乗るときによい
この値段で骨伝導イヤホンを購入でき、 扱いやすいため、自転車に乗りながら音楽を聴くのに適している。 音質や、外への音漏れは微妙だが、 そこまで気にしなければ、充分な製品。
