Yeah it smells but it doesn't stick to your body... I am more worried about it doing what it says on the tin rather then a smell and it does exactly that! Good product, fast working. I would probably recommend only needing it on for 5 minutes, any more and you can over heat your skin from whatever is in the cream. I had a few red areas leaving it 12 mins, so 5 would be more sufficient

I was genuinely impressed by the results. I bought this on my partner’s recommendation, as body hair has become uncomfortable with age. I tested it first and left it on for five minutes—wow. Smooth, clean skin with no irritation. Easy to use and very effective.

Works but burnt me in 6 mins

After reading some of the other comments I was worried about using this, but I had no intention of using this on my private parts. I got my wife to put it on my back, I was worried about how long it said to leave it on for, she decided to cover my whole back in one go, so it saying between 3 & 6 minutes got me a bit panicky that it was going to cause a rash or something and with going on holiday the next day I wouldn't be able to sunbath. Thankfully all was ok and it came off with no issues, it did feel strange having no hair on my back but was nice to feel smooth. There is enough in the tube to do my back at least twice which is a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone.

The irony with this product is that the people most likely to buy it are the people it works worst for. It’s advertised for men, and men usually have thicker, denser hair — that’s exactly where this cream starts to struggle. To be fair, the product is effective if you apply a large amount on a small area. The cream itself is very thick and dense — not like a moisturiser at all — so spreading it is actually difficult. On a small patch (say 5 cm long and 1 cm wide), if you put a good amount and spread it properly, it does remove the hair completely. No stubble, very smooth, exactly like it claims. But that only works on small areas. When you try to use it on a full chest, abdomen, back, or anywhere larger, the problems start instantly: • You need a huge amount for it to work on thick hair. • It is impossible to spread evenly across a large area because the cream is too dense. • If even one spot gets slightly less product, that section won’t remove properly, so you end up patchy. Removing it is another hassle. A towel won’t do anything — I had to use the small plastic scraper they include, and honestly it felt like I was shovelling the cream off my chest. It actually hurt because you have to scrape with pressure to get everything off. And after all that, some areas still had hair because the coverage wasn’t perfectly even. The smell is also extremely strong. I’m not sensitive to smells normally, but this was foul in a closed room. It doesn’t stay on your skin after, but during the process it’s rough. And there’s another issue people don’t talk about: your skin needs to be completely dry before using it, but the removal process basically forces you to use a ton of water because you’re covered in thick cream. So you end up in this awkward situation where you need your skin dry for application, but then have to wash off mountains of cream afterwards. It’s messy, inconvenient, and just not practical for before a shower or during a shower.

works surprisingly well everywhere you need it to I'll say that much. Only problem I have with it is the smell but otherwise completely painless, extremely effective and I haven't noticed any damage to my skin yet. Scented body lotion etc are a must for the clean up after !

Guys, if using this downstairs then don’t make my mistake... First time I used it went ok. Missed a few bits in my concern not to exceed 6 minutes in such a crucial area but figured I’d do better next time. Was pleased that I didn’t actually feel anything even though I was certain it would be ok from using Immac many years ago. Second time did go better - I didn’t miss any patches and had only minimal stubble lines where I needed to go shorter. I want to switch from shaving owing to a metal allergy, and this flared up again but had mostly cleared up when I used the Veet a third time. Great results! Really smooth all over. Was drying off after a shower when the burning feeling started. Long story short: I’d used the cream on skin which hadn’t healed completely from the earlier nickel reaction. The chemicals in the cream work by attacking a substance in the hair follicles, but the same substance is used by the body to heal skin. That’s why so many products, including this one, instruct not to use on damaged or inflamed skin, and that’s why I ended up with what looked like a chemical burn the size of a 50p coin over the base of my shaft and the front of my sack. The good news is that (fingers crossed) everything has been healing nicely and, 7 days later, is nearly back to normal (I don’t think it *was* a chemical burn but that’s what it initially looked like). I’ll continue using the stuff because I love having a smooth pair (plus the smell is really nice) but you can bet I’ll be more careful to check for the slightest inflammation before applying the cream down there in future. Incidentally, (different subject) human skin is s completely different type above the neck and this sort of product should never be used up there. If your face doesn’t slide away from your skull then your brain will shrivel up and fall out of your ear. Just saying
