These are superb quality and they work well. The straps are very strong and there's plenty of generous extra length so that they can be cut down to make the free end more manageable if they are only going to have one regular use to secure a load in the same place every time.I use them to strap down a small motorcycle onto a bike trailer and they held their tension for hundreds of miles, never working loose. Easy to release and undo, and very easy to thread up and get tightening on the ratchet. Another bonus is they are not as heavy as other types I've tried, and that seems no disadvantage on strength because they have all the breaking strength they need to secure a very much heavier load that I'm using them for.They're also good value comparing them with rival products. So I think this set is just great.

Very well made and very strong.2 are permanently attached to each other and a wooden swing slide combo. They haven't stretched or loosened in the strong wind and have really stabilised the play item against the prevailing wind up here in the Welsh mountains.The other 2 have been used fixing a friends motor bike in a van for transport and for holding a sofa on a trailer down steep mountain pass and work flawlessly.The ratchets are really well made and easy to undo too as some I've had have been a bugger to open out. The hooks are solid.Just practice in your hand to figure out which way to thread the strap. You need to be able to pull it all out once you've pressed the release clip when the ratchet is open to 180 degrees. If not then thread it a different way.

I needed to transport a heavy king size mattress for disposal, and hit upon the idea of "folding" it down to a quarter size, using straps to keep it compressed so that it would fit in the boot of my car. It worked a treat and saved me having to hire a van. Good quality product, good value for money.My only quibble was that I struggled to figure out how to operate the "quick release" function - just ended up unhooking the S clasps in the end, but that was only possible because it was a mattress and there was enough "give" for that to be possible. No doubt I would have figured it out with a bit more fiddling!

bought this for my roof box , after passing a few cars over the years where roof boxes have been blown open and items strewn across the road. I have bought this as a extra precaution. Its easy to use well after conferring via youtube.the ratchet is sturdy and the straps seem strong and durableits gives me a great deal of reassurance that the box lid wont ripped open and my undies strewn across the motorway, also when you have a couple of these on, I think it also acts as an extra deterrent to any opportunist thief who might force the locks, when the car is unattended to steal my mankini set , for the price its a great piece of mind for driving long journeys especially in bad weather and yet small enough to pack away when not being used

Normaly i would say - you get what you pay for , but in this instance- the quality and value- of these straps is far more than expected, Perfect for smaller loads etc to be held in place- I actuallu bougtt them for strapping a plastic chair to a fishing boat when fly fishing on rented boats all over the UK.Easy to use and simple to store in the supplied carry case it comes with.

These caught my eye as being good value and seemed, according to the description, well made. I needed a couple of small strong straps and these fit the bill.I was very surprised to find that on one of the rachet handles, the stitching was faulty and had not connected the material whatsoever. While mistakes can happen, and all the rest were fine, I must admit that I now have doubts about the quality and reliabilty of these straps. I don't know how they could be load rated but there is no QC to make sure the stitching is correct.On contacting amazon and supplying pictures, I received a refund.

Bought these from 'Garden Selections' (seller) and used them for a house move, strapping disassembled wardrobe panels and then furniture in the van.Part of the same order I've got 2 x Hilka Ratchet Straps and 2 x Silverline Buckled Straps and these are the best of the lot.Good quality material, easy to use and in good packaging for storage.Perfect for house move, don't waste time comparing and just grab 2 to make sure everything is nicely strapped.If strapping something with soft edges (chipboard/OSB/MDF) add some cardboard in between.For whites (fridge/washing machine) you might want to add a plank to avoid denting.

I ordered these thinking well I'll get what is pictured and described but I was wrong, I received cheap flimsy copies of these that wouldn't of been of any use, The ones pictured are of good quality and reliable as had a set in the past but the ones I received were that cheap and flimsy that one of the ratchets bent and twisted in the packaging when I was testing to see if I could use these, NO CONTACT FROM SELLER, I in the end filed an A to Z Guarantee with Amazon and received a refund, Absolute waste of time and these now will be getting donated to a charity shop.
