I bought this for myself to turn myself into Sadness from Inside Out. The colour turned out to be perfect, and with a very good payoff. I bought a white one to put underneath as I wasn't sure it would show up enough on its own, but it turned out that I didn't need the other one at all. I tried a couple of methods to apply the face paint (I'm very new to literally painting any faces) - a dampened brush, a makeup sponge, and a sponge designed for face paint - and found that the best method is the sponge that is actually made for painting faces. I found it best to dampened the sponge and then to dab it on the face (don't swipe, just press it on). Mine cracked a little bit after several hours because I put on too thick a layer, so I'd recommend only doing maybe 2 layers all over. I have quite sensitive skin so I was a little worried that it might get irritated putting on so much stuff, but it was absolutely fine. I did take the face paint off as soon as I came home (baby wipes did the job) as it was starting to get everywhere, but both my house and face survived the ordeal with minimal clean-up.Since I had to paint my neck blue as well I ended up with face paint all over my white jumper, which I nervously put in the wash with a colour catcher. It came out perfectly white and I've had absolutely no problems.

I used this for a costume, keeping it on for a good 9+ hours. The colour was easy to apply (with a sponge and a brush). You will need a few layers for a complete cover, and dry it in between though. It dried quickly. I used spray on top of the paint, just to keep in on for longer, and to prevent accidental hand/clothes swiping it off easily.The colour gets to you clothes/hands somewhat easy, so you need to be careful for it to last a full day. Also I had the colour stick to my face well, but for example my throat and neck got hotter - so any sweat will get the paint smudging.Obviously you can get a better paint, but that's expensive, and this did serve the purpose well enough for me.

it takes a good long while to get an even coat base and when you do eventually get that even white coat, it cracks within like 10 minutes of wearing. I finished putting on my make-up and wore it for about 10 minutes and it was already crumbling and falling off my face and into my eyes. 💔 maybe it’s just me but the product is decent at best

Very pigmented and thick, lovely coverage and layering. I was able to create these beautiful designs with it.

This face paint is very easy to use, exactly as it appears and doesn’t smell at all. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin but I didn’t have any issues with it on my face; it was a little difficult to apply (in some areas I had to reapply another layer) but in part that could have been the brush I used.

This is going to be our go-to brand of face paint forever!Highlights: Safe for Celiacs, applies really easily once activated with water and our 5 year-old was able to clean herself with a wet wash cloth. Stayed for 4+ hours even without setting products.Details:Needed a gluten-free product for our child with Celiac disease as we didn't want to risk cross-contamination. Did the research and this product came highly recommended even by those with sensitive skin issues.It came plastic sealed so we knew it was clean. No applicator or instructions (though those might be on the package) so we used a makeup sponge and paintbrush and followed the reviews and some YouTube videos to make sure we applied it right.It activates with water so we got it wet and then also wet the sponge or brush. Really easy to apply with the brush but the sponge could get streaky so we did two coats and gave it just a few minutes to dry in between. The color is so vibrant! We purchased Pale Blue to get the Vampirina character look and it was perfect. Used for a full face for multiple events and still have plenty left so even though it seemed pricier to get a single color, it was well worth it.The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. I only had to go around the hairline to get hidden parts but I was really impressed as we were dreading having to get baby oil or other products out to remove it.It stayed really well for the 4 or so hours we needed it each time. Chose not to use a setting spray or baby powder but would recommend it for people going to conventions who need it to stay longer. There was one incident where after washing her hands they didn't get completely dry and she touched her face so there were some fingerprints of missing paint but not a big deal.As someone who doesn't apply makeup and hasn't done full face paint before, I couldn't recommend this more highly.
