Great finish and quality in the high frequency
Great speakers. These speakers have a very high quality finish especially in piano black, a solid construction, the carbon Twitter has an incredible level of detail, the mid frequency sounds are incredible especially the voices, Bowers and Wilkins know what they are doing, they are specialists building speakers, in my opinion they are the best especially with their technologies to build Twitter.

Incredible Sound, Unbeatable Value, Questionable Quality Control
I bought this B&W 707 S2 for desktop use, mostly music listening and gaming, connected to my $7,000 PC via a Marantz pm7000n. Paired with an SVS SB-1000 Pro sub, the sound quality is unbelievable for a $3000 entry-level setup. I grew up listening to my dad's B&W+Marantz floor-standing setup which cost him more than $10,000 twenty years ago, I'm quite familiar with their "house sound".The sound stage is wide although not very deep, with excellent transparency. This level of instrument separation should even exist in this price range, plus wonderful off-axis performance, making this arguably the best desktop speaker.I originally bought one pair but one speaker was producing a vibrating noise when playing at certain frequencies, such as piano. I had to buy another pair and it turned out one speaker in the new pair is defective too, same problem. I did switch between left and right and was certain I got two defective speakers out of four.I would still highly recommend these products for their performance and cost efficiency, but just be aware that they might require some extra fiddling.
