Pura-Fit Disposable Earplugs Pura-Fit SNR 36 Safety 20 Pair

I've tried a few different makes and varieties and these are my favourites. They don't irritate my ear canal and they are very comfortable....I find some are too big and start to hurt after an hour. I use these when sleeping and when on public transport, they are very good at blocking out noise from noisy neighbours and reduces the irritating noises from fellow commuters.

OK they're disposable which some people may not agree with but they always work for me. Having one slightly odd shaped ear canal, I find that these always mould themselves to fit perfectly whereas reusable ones (and even most ear bud headphones) never fit or seal properly in that ear. I use them mostly when staying in hotels and/or staying somewhere with traffic noise.

I'm a super light sleeper, every noise and discomfort wakes me up (think princess and the pea) I can't sleep without earplugs, and this far have never managed to find a balance between comfort and noise cancellation. These are the best I've found so far, but can be uncomfortable when side-sleeping (I will wake up with them in my hand after taking them out in the middle of the night)

These are much more comfortable and fit better than sparkplugs. They seal and mould to your ears really well. Can be used for a week before going crackly

I use these to cut out extraneous noises at night. They are comfortable when pinched and inserted to fill the ear. Can’t “share my space” without them!

I can't work with music, so this is one of the best things I've ever bought for my productivity, and super affordable, too. I do my work in common areas so I've always struggled to block out conversations once people start talking. These ear plugs block out noise almost entirely + muffles most conversations even if some sound gets through. Works like a charm – blocks out all but those who are practically determined to be overheard.

Been buying these for close to 20 years now. If that is not a solid timeframe in order to base a recommendation , then i don't know what is ! They are washable, but at the price generally easier to just use them a few days till they are grim , then chuck them and put on a new pair. Happy days.
