Great for vintage Platinum Fountain Pens
I was getting tired of using cartridges and tried this in my standard sized Platinum fountain pens- works perfectly, especially since they are proprietary. Ink flow seems to be better with a converter, as well as fit.

It's a proprietary converter, so more expensive than other kinds of converters, but it works perfectly fine. Tested on the Platinum Preppy and Plaisir, as well as the Kuretake No. 13 and Karappo.

ざっと40数年前、大学入学記念にいただいた、プラチナシープ18。もう絶版になったか、今のラインナップにはない。基本的に、カートリッジのみのペンだったはずだが、これが何と、現行タイプのコンバーターがきっちり装着できるのだ。実際、インクを吸わせて書いてみた。インク漏れ等もない。普通に使える。胴軸の寸法さえクリアできれば可ということか。 インク瓶から吸い上げるアクションは、万年筆沼にはまった者には儀式のようなものだ。それを演出してくれるこのコンバーター、実によい。
