Buy GUAIMI Cruise Control Motorcycle Throttle Assist Lock for Harley 1990-2026 Cable Throttle with OEM Grips or Aftermarket Grips with Minimum 1 1/8" to Maximum 1 3/4" Outside Grip Diameter: Throttles - desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Fix a few issues and it works fine. - Works good if you work the kinks out on yamaha XT250. desertcart will say it does not fit this bike, but it does. There are a few things to correct on install not covered in instructions. 1: The washer is on the wrong side of the spring, if you look at the first photo on the website, The washer is on top side of the spring. The washer needs to go on the bottom of the spring. Otherwise the spring pokes through the whole and jams up the mechanism. When I first installed mine it would go sideways and not engage, and was binding bad. I studied it and realized the spring was causing the issue, it was jabbing the mechanism. I added a lower washer the same size as the screw, this fixed a lot of problems. 2: lightly sand the mechanism and coat it in beeswax. This will ensure it moves very smooth. 3: take a lineman pliers, and bend the bracket straight with your grips. And move it far enough over, so it stays away from the grip cushions on the left. It now works perfect and solves the binding issues, other people complain about in the reviews. Review: 2001 Harley Electra Glide. - I never give a five star. Does take up space on the throttle. But seems to work real good on my 2001 Harley Electra Glide. Installation was real easy. Had it on in less than 10 minutes.

Poor build quality but it gets the job done, just
The number 1 purpose of these is to lock the throttle, it does that great. The number 2 purpose of these is to lock it where you left it, this is not good at that. The construction is a little flimsy, which means when you engage the lock, it flexes and you start losing speed. If you adjust for this and lock with a little more throttle it works great. The paint on the metal is not the best quality, it starts to flake off after a few weeks of regular use. Overall, if you're on a tight budget, it gets the job done for highway rides. But if you can afford something nicer, like one that slips in between the grip and the bar, go with that one

Not good
Does not have enough lever range. If tight enough to hold when on, too tight to release. Loosen enough to release, is not tight enough to hold. Disappointed.

Perfect. Zero issues.
Works fine. Great price. The quality is good. Took a few minutes to install on my 2020 Low Rider S. It’s nice to be able to rest my throttle hand.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME.
TRIED EVERY CONCIEVABLE METHOD AND SLEEVE PROVIDED AND THE ITEM WOULD EITHER LOCK THE TROTTLE COMPLETELY (EVEN WHEN DISENGAGED) OR WOULD NOT "BITE" WHEN ENGAGED. KUDOS TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ACCEPTING THE RETURN WITHOUT ISSUE.

It works great.
I don’t write many reviews, but this device is great. Installed on ‘02 Harley Ultra. The screw was just where they said to install. I used the first spacer and tightened everything. A couple of minor adjustments and this thing is great. It’ll hold speed and not slip, IF you have normal rubber grips like I have. I use this way more that the cruise control on my Harley.

I however modified it to work on my GL1500 as the cruse control isn’t working for now. Got it to work with minimum effort. Some custom stainless steel brackets and a longer screw on the thumb leaver. Custom bending, And it worked out ok.
