Perfect! Thickness of bar is excellent for grabbing and the “peening” helps so they are not slippery. I bought 2 and they were installed yesterday. Super happy I didn’t go with a cheaper version. These are top quality, sturdy and well put together. Worth it!!

I got several of the stainless steel peened grab bars in different lengths. The bars felt very sturdy and did not feel slippery even when grasping with wet hands. They even looked fine with polished chrome shower fixtures.

Quality. Three screws to sink into stud. Would buy again.

My dad has gotten to the age that he needs grab bars in the shower. We went to one of the local big box hardware stores to get the bars and discovered that the shorter bars were twice the price of the longer ones. This model bar is much cheaper on Amazon and it's the exact same product. We really like the fact that the screws are covered with this model. That gives it a finished look. Now dad feels safer while taking a shower.

Have bought a total of 9 of these grab bars in various lengths (shower remodel, WC, and tub/shower combination) and they all seem to be of good quality. Have not had any of them long enough to be able to tell if there is any rust issue (would be most concerned with the mounting bracket and screws under the end covers) but so far, so good. They look good and the peened surface gives a nice sure griping surface. While a contractor installed all 9, it is a relatively straightforward installation with the right tools (a stud finder, a tile bit if installing through tile, a regular bit for piloting the screw hole, silicone calk (squeezed into the piloted hole to prevent water penetration in a wet application - be generous) and an impact driver (since these are to be, ideally, screwed into a stud, a power driver is sure nice). If there is not a stud in the right spot, in order to provide a secure grab, special wall inserts are required (the last thing one needs is to grab one of these bars to prevent a fall and have the anchor pull out of the wall) and they are not cheap.

Got 3 for my senior parents for each bathroom. They love it. It came with all the screws and was easy to install.

I mounted this vertically, about elbow height, above the edge of the bathtub, on a stud. When she used it, stepping in and out of the tub, my wife commented that it made her feel very secure, especially because of the textured surface. She thinks it looks very functional, but attractive, as do I. The diameter seems right for our fairly small hands. We also have a 32-in. one, installed horizontally above the side of the tub. It’s on studs, too, and I can stand on it. Not sure yet how helpful it will be, but it looks fine. I think these are excellent products for the purpose.
