Tangle Teezer The Original Detangling Hairbrush for All Hair Types

I have been wanting a Tangle Teezer for ages but have never wanted to pay the full price for one as I thought this was a little expensive. So in the meantime I have previously purchased a couple of copy type items which are meant to offer the same type of thing but have found they just scratch your scalp! So after spending that money on cheaper alternatives, I should have just took the plunge on one of the real deal! I first tried a Tangle Teezer a couple of years ago when a family member had one on holiday and found it was perfect for detangling my pool hair! I got this product when it was reduced to £7.31 so decided it was finally time to take the plunge, and I'm so happy I did! I mainly use my Tangle Teezer for when I go swimming as my hair always feels very tatty and dry when I get out of the pool so hate trying to get a brush through it! The soft bristles mean that they don't tug on the hair too much causing it to snap, instead they just gently tease the hair to detangle it without pulling half of my hair out! I have noticed a significant difference in the amount of hair that has been lost when brushing my hair, it has been much less with this product. I have to section my hair in half to brush with this as I feel like the bristles are too soft to really get through the thicker part of my hair at the back so I just divide it into 2 to do. It does feel really weird having the brush in your hand as opposed to having a handle, I know they do offer this so I think this is the option I would go for next as I find it a little awkward to brush properly at the back with it being in my hand. Maybe I just have a big head? Lol. I don't think I'd ever go back now, this is the best brush I've ever had for keeping my hair healthy and I would love to see a barrel brush that I could use whilst straightening my hair.

I've been struggling with matted tangly hair since I had highlights 3 years ago. Maybe it messed with the growth? Now, every time I try to drive standard 'tangle' brushes through my hair it doesn't make a dent. It tightens the knots even if I work from the bottom. It took 20 minutes and then somehow there were always more knots. I was using salon standard detangle serums, too etc. Went to the hairdresser and they used one of these and seemed to easily detangle my hair. I was curious and bought one. Basically it separates out strands of hair as it goes down in a way other brushes don't seem to do. I can glide this through my hair with ease, much to my surprise. The bain of my life just became very, very easy and I wish I discovered this year's ago amongst all the misleading marketing and useless products around.

Bought for my wife to replace the same model which has come apart after 4 years daily use. No complaints!

Got this brush because I’ve heard this was one of the best brushes when it came to detangling. So I decided to purchase it as I was looking for a brush even though it was a bit pricey. Overall for my 4c hair it does an okay job of detangling although I had to use it with a comb as well as my hair doesn’t really detangle using just it. It works really well on wet/damp hair not so much on dry. Although one thing I really hate is that it is really hard to clean.

Where has this brush been all of my life? This has tamed my lion's mane and smoothed out flyaways / frizz. Traditional brushes always dry out the ends of my hair but this is a gamechanger. I highly recommend this brush for those of us blessed with a scalp of thick hair that has a lawless life of its own. I have only had this brush in my life for 5 days so I can't comment on its longevity but right now I am happy :)

Drugi raz już kupiłem tę szczotkę i jestem z niej bardzo zadowolony

Ho ordinato la Tangle Teezer Original per provarla, su consiglio di amiche che però hanno un capello diverso dal mio. Devo dire che ero un po' scettica ma, per il prezzo vantaggioso, ho deciso di tentarla. Arrivata nei tempi previsti, nella scatola originale che nel mio caso è utile anche per il trasporto in valigia (visto che mi sposto molto) per non rovinare i dentini in silicone. I MIEI CAPELLI: ho un capello mosso, grosso e molto secco. Devo spazzolarmi ogni mattina se faccio la piega dritta, e già in quel caso ho molti nodi, immaginatevi quando li tengo naturali! Qualsiasi spazzola acquistata fino ad ora è stata per me un supplizio per pettinarmi, anche con quintali di balsamo. Lavo i capelli 1/2 volte la settimana, vista la tipologia e la lunghezza (quasi 30cm da tirati). LA MIA ESPERIENZA: ho provato la Tangle Teezer sui capelli asciutti ieri sera, prima del lavaggio di oggi, per togliere i nodi. Prima a testa in su e, per finire, con la testa in giù per sistemare l'attaccatura dei capelli ad altezza della cervicale dove si formano sempre milioni di ricciolini veri e propri. Cinque minuti e ogni nodo era sparito, pochissimi i capelli strappati, spazzola pulita e io pronta per lo shampoo. Un sogno che si avvera! Per altro ho notato piacevolmente che il silicone, come il legno, toglie quasi completamente l'elettricità statica :) Ho passato l'estate a provare ad usare il balsamo una volta ogni tre lavaggi per tenere il mio mosso naturale e non phonare i capelli e, ogni volta che provavo a spazzolarli da asciutti prima di lavarli, i miei nodi mi facevano quasi piangere dal dolore. Esito? Capelli spezzati e matasse nella spazzola a non finire, l'unico modo era prendere ciocca per ciocca e districare i capelli prima, durante e dopo il lavaggio con un pettine di legno a denti molto larghi. Ora userò il pettine soltanto sotto la doccia quando sarà "tempo di balsamo", per comodità nel distribuire il prodotto. ULTERIORI INFORMAZIONI: alcuni lamentano l'uso sui capelli ricci di questa versione "standard". Io personalmente avendo un mosso non ho avuto alcun problema, se non appunto magari qualche capello in più nella spazzola rispetto ad una liscia. E stamani, prima del lavaggio, mi era tornato un mosso più dolce ma completamente privo di nodi nonostante la notte! Su molti siti ho letto che la Tangle Teezer viene usata anche per lo stilying finale col phon. Io sinceramente non saprei come usarla, avendolo sempre fatto con spazzola rettangolare e poi rotonda, la Tangle non mi sembra così maneggevole anche se è leggerissima e temo mi scotterei i capelli. In definitiva ottima spazzola, non vedo l'ora di ordinare anche la versione da borsetta con custodia e di poterla regalare ad altre amiche con la "mania" dei capelli perfetti!
