Originals 1960's Design Dry Cook's Measure,4.33 x 4.33 x 5.70 inches

this is such a useful measure, I already have one but bought this to add to my granddaughters Christmas presents to use at her home. She loves helping me bake and this measure is really handy, saves getting out the kitchen scales. Just add ingredients, as shown on the guide inside the measure, to the desired quantity then tip into the mixing bowl. Very simple to use, easy to clean and takes up very little space in a cupboard. Can't recommend it highly enough. And of course Tala have been making kitchen equipment for decades so a good quality, value for money item.

Really cute and works! I measured out 8oz of raisins and then weighed them to compare accuracy. Only needed a couple more raisins adding to make it spot on 8oz on the scales, so if you're in a rush or just not that bothered about 100% accuracy, this is great and takes up a lot less space! Happy!

I love my dry measure. It's great for baking and enables the user to select the correct amount of ingredients quickly and easily without waiting for the scales. Of course, accuracy is slightly lower but it's within acceptable margins for domestic use. The one criticism I have is that the metal is not non-corrosive, and I only know that because I bought this one to replace an old one that started to rust!

Do not understand why people moaning at all about this very useful item. Mine came very promptly ( to replace a vintage model given by a friend) with a charming and informative label with complete care instructions so problems of rusting should not apply. Design has not changed over many years. Liquid ingredients can be measured but bear in mind if you leave to stand it is flagged up the item will leak , but why should you want to when measuring a recipe ? And why would you want to put such a small easy to clean item in the dishwasher ? (It is not dishwasher proof ) The price was incredible - I had almost bought an identical item on a flea market for £7.00 which was scratched and slightly rusted - the price of £5.82 delivered was a no brainer. As long as you look after this item will last for years. The firm that make this item are UK based too. No longer will I be messing with converting imperial to American cups. Highly recommend.

I love this ! I use it to measure both wet and dry ingredients and it’s perfect. Today I used it to bake my challah bread for my new year (Jewish) and it came out perfect , so measurements etc are spot on with this. So easy to just have one item like this, I don’t like scales and don’t have a separate measuring jug for liquid , and now I don’t need as I have this tala measuring cup. Has many different measures , including cups ( US and UK), ounces and much much more ! Easy to clean and store . Get it , you won’t regret!

Great! Perfect for measuring dry ingredients and liquids. Almost entirely ditched the kitchen scales. For making bread etc this is perfect to quickly and accurately weigh out dry ingredients. Also love the retro look, easy to clean and looks fab in my kitchen!

I'm more of a cook by feel kind of a cook so find this measuring tool suits me far better than scales. Great for most baking ingredients and easy to use and clean. One for bakers who prefer not to have scales cluttering up the place.

It's true that the second and third photos from the ad are like the actual product, but the ad overall is misleading as the main photo is different (white instead of silver). I chose the product because I liked that specific look. Since most people buy this especially for its looks, I think that is essential. Also, it came packaged in nothing but a plastic bag, so it was deformed and I had to fix it.

This is probably a good product, but it didn't work out for me as I wished. Still, if you are a pro baker or are baking a lot and often - it might work. But it looks nice in the kitchen, I have to admit.

Super Optik auf dem Bild, wurde schnellstens geliefert, für mich ein schlechter Kauf, billige Verarbeitung, als ich den Messbecher in der Hand hatte dachte ich nur : selbst 20 Cent wären für diese Pappmache zu teuer.

Best item for the kitchen

Want to measure flour, sugar, rice etc, then this is ideal. I have been using one for a very long time, and find it indispencible, highly recommended.
