JETech Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (1st and 2nd Generation, 2015 and 2017 Model), Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

This case is excellent. I ordered it for my hubby’s 2015 iPad Pro and it’s a perfect fit. He had the original apple case ( which they no longer make) and it had completely fallen apart. This was the closest one I could find to the original and other than the fact that the front sleeve isn’t removable it’s a pretty good match. The cut out sections are all in the right place and the back shell fits snugly. It’s very easy to fit your iPad into position. This case fits the 2015 and 2017 models only so be careful before you order or it won’t fit your model. The front sleeve is foldable so you can create a leaning shelf which keeps your iPad stable. It also has a wake/sleep function. The colour is an exact match to the original apple case so looks good. Price wise it feels decent value for money. I’d definitely recommend this case for anyone with an older iPad Pro. It offers good protection and looks smart.

iPad pro case in black. Price: Awesome product for such a low price point. Fit: It fits the device perfectly and protects the device as expected. Heft: The item is light and slim so it does not add a lot of weight or bulk. Look: it does take away from the beautiful look of your iPad, however, this cannot really be avoided unless there is a clear version which I cannot imagine with these materials. Feel: it feels nice in your hands with enough grip so as not to slip. I am assuming it's made of some forms of plastic, however, it does lot feel hard or rough as some other cases do. Design: the triangular role of the front cover forming a stand is not my favourite design for a case, I do prefer a the back leg style where I can creat the angle with a hinge tyoe leg, although, it seems this is now the design type of choice and the one I see most often. And it does the job of holding the iPad when in landscape mode and on a even surface. JETech: I have a few JETech items now and they are fast becoming a go to company for me. Based on the other items of theirs that I have I now have a lot of faith in knowing the item will be of good quality and at a very good price. Overall: excellent item for the price. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do.

Received iPad pro case within 2 days of ordering. Very prompt delivery by Amazon. First impression of the case: > Material used is quite nice to the touch, rubbery matt outer surface with inner fiber material for lid/cover. > iPad pro fits snugly into the case and is held securely. > Magnetic sleep/wake works perfectly and strong enough to allow iPad pro to stand up without falling. > Folded lid gives a nice 15% angle for typing and overall usage of iPad. > Cut outs for buttons, audio jack, mic holes, lightning port in correct place however cut outs for the speakers are slightly covered on top edge. (Have tested playing music and videos with and without the case and there's no discernible volume decrease.) > Lid closes properly and magnet holds it in place. After using iPad without a case for several weeks, with the added weight of the case, the iPad does feel heavier to use with one hand. However naturally using the device on lap or a desk, this is not so much of a problem and is a sacrifice I can live with. Overall very nice case for the price paid. Only real criticism I can give it is the speaker cut outs. See images. Will see how long the case lasts.

Very good product

Okay, so first of all I have owned every generation of iPad. So, I have had quite a few. Each iPad I purchase I put an InvisibleShield on it and over time using various expensive cases the InvisibleShield has to be replaced guaranteed. Cases I have purchased before are the $99, $129, $150 dollar cases from name brand makers. I have also purchased Apple brand cases for the iPad Air. When I purchased my iPad Pro 12.9 there wasn't too many choices in iPad cases at the time. An InvisibleShield costs $65 so really I was looking for a case to perform as intended without affecting the InvisibleShield and without obstructing the connection ports that is durable. I came across this iPad case which by all standards looks like an official Apple brand case at a fraction of the cost. I decided to try it, the investment was small and figured this case would hold me over until I could purchase a higher end case when they became more easily available on the market. Well, guess what...6 months later and I am still using this case and have no plans whatsoever to replace it. I love it. Sad, that I wasted so much money on the expensive cases prior to finding this one. Color options are great. This case does not obstruct any of the ports (which others can/have). This case works flawlessly with the iPad, when the cover is closed the iPad shuts immediately off and when opened the iPad turns on immediately. I access this iPad using this case about 12 separate times a day, 7 days a week so that is about 2,000+ times I have directly used this case and have had no issues whatsoever. Shocking, I know. That has not been the case with the higher end cases. Don't get me wrong not all cases are bad, but this case definitely stands out. Now, here is the best part...it does not interfere with my InvisibleShield. WOW! This is the FIRST case that I have purchased, seen and used that does not interfere with the use of the InvisibleShield. Point blank I am a happy camper. I thought for sure there would be wear and tear after much use on this case because of the price point, but no it remains in perfect condition and has held up perfectly. Easy to clean. High quality. Also, what I noticed was the iPad 12.9 Pro is significantly lighter while much bigger than the iPad Air . It was important that this case kept the iPad 12.9 Pro light and it does. The case does not add any noticeable weight to the iPad. Bottomline, I do not have any complaints or issues with this case. When I buy another iPad, I will be right back here buying another case without hesitation. It is a slim case and not bulky. Fits easily in purse.
