Bought this for a 14 year old starting out her vinyl collection and it hasn't failed her yet. Perfect player for a beginner - hard to brake

Didn't work at all, it was all in as new condition, plugged it in and there was a noticeable buzzing sound, and the turntable would not turn at all on any speed, worked through the AUX with mp3 but the buzzing was still present, was returned for a refund. This is the second one, the first having worked for 3 months until the electronic components inside went bang when turned on, will not touch another.

Serves me right for buying cheap but the audio quality is not great and it has a habit of slightly distorting the sound a little on the very first track. It also doesn't stop revolving is the needle head is returned to its base away from the record (and that has to be done manually as it doesn't do it at the end of a side).At best it's a functional cheap record player but it's not good and far less pleasant than the last one I bought which was a similar type but £50.
