Maybelline New York Satin Brow Pencil, Dark Brown, 9g

All ok used as brow pencil although darker than I had expected

This is a great light colour, perfect for blondes, unlike many other eyebrow pencils which are often too dark. The pencil end is good to define the brow line and fill in any gaps, while the puffball end smoothes the finish & fills in any remaining spaces. Lasts ages, easy to use. I was very pleased they all came individually shrink wrapped, eliminating any worries about hygiene or them having been used already. They are also a good price, cheaper than my local shops. Very pleased with this purchase from vendor "SavEasy Ltd.". Would definitely buy from them in future.

I have natural red eyebrows that go with my hair. It is hard to find a colour with the right tint of red and this shade is perfect for me. I have a hair pulling condition whereby I pull my eyebrows when bored or stressed. So I needed a pencil to hide the gaps. It lasts quite well, simple to apply, I do t use the shadow end personally because I think it makes it too dark and I'm not looking to make my brows look super full (just realistic to hide the pulling). The down side to this product is that soon after first use it smells like fish....this has happened to me one two occasions from different retailers. I have no idea why. But I haven't noticed any allergies from it so I still use it. Regardless I think it is a good pencil when on a budget. I just hope I can keep using this colour and it isn't discontinued. I do sometimes struggle to find it in store

Medium brown works for me as I have dark hair. I use it to subtly define my eyebrows. I fill in the small gaps with the pencil and use the powdered tip for bigger gap. The result is very natural. The best eyebrow pencil I've used so far. However, be careful about buying this product online. I believe the previous one I bought here wasn't genuine. The pencil tip fell off the first time I used it and the twist function didn't work. And the pencil didn't have Maybelline label on it. All point to my suspicion that it wasn't the real thing. Since the price here is the same (at the time of my writing this) as Boots, I'd recommend you buy it from reputable high street stores.

I have purchased many eyebrow kits and this one is by far the best. The pencil part blends in really well well and does not look drawn on and the sponge helps to blend and add a depth of colour which isn't always necessary depending on how the pencil was applied. I am very happy with this purchase as you can apply it more precisely than the wax/brush eyebrow kits. The brown is also more eyebrow colour and less lego tree bark colour which is more natural. I love t and will definitely be purchasing again.

This is one of many ultra thin eyebrow pencils/crayons now on the market. At around £6 it is far cheaper than the original Benefit 'Precision Brows' version, which retails for £22.50. Although it may be cheap, it's also not worth the money! On first use, I tried the sponge applicator on the back of my hand to test the colour. Then I discovered you had to depress the end, in order to release more powder. So I tried it. Guess what? No powder! I shook it vigorously, and then depressed the sponge well over a dozen times, but nothing. Seemed like it was empty. Hmm. Figured I'd have to use it for blending. Then I tried the pencil. On first use it came out a mid ash brown colour - far too dark for blondes (I ordered the 'dark blonde'). Half way through doing my first brow, the pencil snapped, and a good 4mm landed in the sink. I had only extended it a couple of mm and wasn't pressing hard! So one end is a complete dud, and the other isn't durable enough to use. A complete disappointment! Also worth mentioning that the product arrived with a barcode, but was unsealed.

Ottima matita per sopracciglia! Io le ho prese nel colore medium brown (che secondo me è adatto per le bionde scure o per le castane chiare) e poi la dark brown (adattissima per le castane, a parer mio un po' meno adatta per le more perchè risulta comunque di un marrone medio e non scurissimo) ed è perfetta! La mina è sottile ma non si spezza se si fa attenzione (come con tutte le matite di questo tipo!), il tratto è fine e preciso, la formula non è troppo morbida ma neanche troppo secca! E in più per fissare il prodotto c'è anche la parte con l'ombretto! Certo, se non si mette un primer sulle sopracciglia come base, non durano moltissimo, soprattutto se ci si tocca spesso le sopracciglia! Io le ricomprerei per questo prezzo, quasi non ho sopracciglia e riesco a disegnarmele decentemente con questa matita! SUPER consigliata

Yo estaba usando un gel antes de comprar este lápiz y ya me estaba dando trabajo estar con la brocha modelándome la ceja así que, encontré este lápiz y ya voy por el 4to. que pido. Es muy fácil de usar y el color me queda perfecto, el plumón del otro extremo no suelo usarlo. Las únicas cosas negativas que le veo al lápiz en sí, es que se me acaba muy rápido pero es cierto que lo uso diario y que luego de pintarme la ceja siempre me pongo un gel transparente para fijar el color.

Ha sueprado mis espectativas. Me lo compré ya que se me acabó en de sephora y decidí probar este porque me llegaba al día siguiente. Es muy fácil de usar, no quedan grumos y da un aspecto muy natura, la espumita va muy bien apra acabar de esparcir el lápiz y rellenar por dentro la ceja. Como muchos otros lápices de cejas la única pega es que no es resistente al agua pero si no te frotas no se borra en ningún momento.
