In my opinion, the mask has a terrible, cheap smell, but it still gets the job done. It's by far the best protein mask I've used on my hair. My hair was a bit fragile, frizzy, thin, damaged, and starting to break after I had focused too long on moisturizing masks. After using this product just once, my hair felt stronger, looked fuller, and appeared thicker. The only downside was dealing with the bad smell for a week, despite trying to mask it with oils and leave-in moisturizers. However, I found a workaround: pairing it with other Vatika masks helps eliminate the smell.

Ok so I was prepared for the smell after so many comments. On opening, it smelt something like a 1970s brothel. However, after blow drying the smell improved and I now find it quite tolerable. The product itself is good, my hair is very damaged but feels healthy after using. I've tried lots of high end treatments and tbh this is nearly, if not equally as effective. My hair is shiny and soft with body. Amazing value.

I have afro hair and this is the best protein Hair conditioner I have ever used. It strengthens the hair. I think it's better to deep condition using it with heat. I'm going to buy again. A little goes a long way. It lasted me for almost a year. I don't mind the smell. It's perfumy but not cloying scent.

The instructions say to wrap a hot towel around your hair after you've put the mask on, but I used a shower cap instead so my body heat would help the mask work, and it worked very well. My hair felt so soft and silky, and shiny. And personally I found the scent to be very pleasant. I use it with the egg protein hair oil. I hope continued use will help my hair strength and manageability. I have curly, thick hair that is very difficult to manage at times and this mask has definitely helped lessen dry hair and tangles, and it eliminated any frizz! This is definitely a must-have for my hair care from now on.

It works as a product but it has 2 ingredients in it that are know and the ‘itchy m’s’ which can irritate some people. Made my hair lovely and curly but drove me crazy with the itches! Also stinks but hey what do you expect from an egg mask?!
