Outstanding for the price!! I own a few loupe’s, antique, vastly more expensive one’s. But this had one massive plus that my others didn’t a light and not just one two! 6 bright white LED and a UV. Very well made and great to carry with the included case. Now if this is your first loupe, don’t be shocked by the cost this is an amazing loupe for the price, you can get cheaper but remember this is a triplet loupe not a singlet, While more expensive, a triplet provides a sharp, color-corrected image from edge to edge, whereas single-lens magnifiers suffer from significant distortion and color blurring at the edges. Oh and not mentioned anywhere in the description or tech description, replacement batteries needed are L936F. Will be buying a spare in the future, for daily life.

Excellent loupe, very heavy and well built. The lens has perfect clarity and the integrated lights, both regular spectrum and UV are a game changer. Even in well-lit areas, when you're so close to an object often lighting is not sufficient. The integrated lights solve this with one flick of a switch. Only ever so slight drawback is the lighting switch is very small, however if you've any fingernails whatsoever it's still simple to operate.

Feels like a quality bit of kit. Nicely packaged so would make a lovely gift for start. Opening it up, it feels weighty and robust. The light switch is a positive click in each position. The lens takes a decent push to get it out of its protection and it just feels like 20 quids worth; nothing light-weight or flimsy. The lens is clear and with much less fade than my old cheapy loupe I picked up at an antique fayre for a couple of quid. It has a 'leather' case too. Something not many mention, but a real bug-bear for me, the hanging loop on this IS big enough for a small split ring to hang it from; a must if you're in the field or trapesing round antiques all day. Highly recommended. Oh yeah, it magnifies stuff too.

Great magnifier, very clear especially with the all around light, easy to use, good weight and size in the hand, good focal length, just about small enough to go on your keys a but it is chunky. Will be great for inspecting the students work in my electronics labs.

Nice quality triplet lens. Metal body. Leather pouch. You can really zoom in on minuscule details such as hallmarks and serial numbers on watch lugs. The LED halo light is very bright and helps visibility if very small details. The UV light is there to verify luminescence of authentic gem stones. Overall very satisfied. There are much cheaper loupes out there that will be all plastic and not as effective. Not sure how long the battery will last or whether it can be easily replaced. The leather pouch is good quality but would benefit from a belt loop for ease of portability. I’d rate this as 4/5 stars. Very good for observing surface damage in watches for example if you’re looking to buy second hand.

Good magnification.

To be honest, it was faffy to get anything in focus with this. I reverted to using the excellent magnifier with light on my phone, which also takes photos of the plants I’m studying.

This lens has impressive optics. Images are very clear allowing fine details to be seen. The field of view at 21 mm is excellent, enabling a large area to be viewed. It is good for viewing the details of crystals in a rock or individual mineral crystals. Attached photos show a flat polished piece of quartz-microgabbro and a group of grossular garnets. Also a photo of a millimetre ruler plus detail of the same photo. Taken with a phone camera they are not quite as good as what you can see with your eye because when you are using it you make minor position adjustments to view different areas. The white LED light is very useful when there is insufficient light available, although you do get some reflection off shiny surfaces. It should be ideal in shaded spots such as dense forests or on a very dull day. The long wave UV light works fine. It was good to see some calcite crystals glowing pink. As the light is also visible (i.e. not a black light) it is not the same as using far more expensive UV lighting. Construction is excellent with just the right stiffness in the hinge. It has a smart leather case for storage and there is a slot at the top for attachment of a lanyard.

This scope is equiped with a decent lens that allow for easy focusing, with quite an effective led illumination in darker corners. Have not really tested out the Uv function, cos i have not use of it for now. I’d spent over hundred dollars in search for loupe that could offer decent focal length which wouldn’t spoil my eye sight. Noticed the online retail sphere has been plagued with loupes with focal length that can’t even squeeze a finger in between the loupe and object, regardless of magnifications, usually in ranges higher than 20x to lure buyers. Some versions even advertised a different but visually similar model, but only to receive an identical version to my earlier purchases, with identical aesthetically pleasant casings. But what i needed is the scope, not the casing! I definitely recommend this over many other loupes in the market.

Really happy with this loupe. My eyes aren't what they used to be. I used this to look at some coins in my collection for a closer look. The light is very convenient and useful. The magnification is just the right size. It will be useful for other tasks as well having old eyes is no fun.

La lente fa bene il suo lavoro, confrontata con una lente 5x ed effettivamente l'ingrandimento è maggiore...molto nitida al centro, non vi aspettate miracoli ai bordi...effettuati vari test su fiori e insetti ed effettiamente sono rimasto molto colpito...rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. La lupa tiene buen lente con bastante aumento y las luces son un plus, especialmente la luz UV que permite encontrar materia orgánica con mucha facilidad. Se lleva un diez.
