Great Black Bean Sauce.
We tried this a few months ago as my other half likes beef in black bean sauce. I was surprised how close it tasted to the takeaways version. Plus the fact that you only need to use about a quarter of a jar in your recipe, so it's great value.

Good authentic taste - Do NOT just pour in the jar.
Tastes very good. This is not just a mix in sauce. I have used this sauce over the years and now the jar contains instructions. You just need a little - follow instructions. I build my sauce with water and a little cornflour or weak beef or chicken gravy. The benefit is that one jar lasts longer. Too much is very strong and salty.

It's what the take aways use!
Been using Lee Kum Kee for years, this black bean and garlic paste is fantastic. Most take always and restaurants use this paste. Just be mindful when using it, a little goes a long way, too much and it will be over powering and salty.

For next time
The black bean sauce is one of the best Iโve ever tried but unfortunately 2 jars were damaged on top of lid in which case air got I also ordered satay jars aswell in which they had protection tip and bottom with cardboard

Great for a quick stirfry
I have been using these for some time they are excellent if you want to rustle up a quick midweek stirfry quite authentic flavour great addition to the store cupboard.

Salt in Abundance !!
Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce is ideal for any one who has taken a holiday dip in the Dead Sea and inadvertently and swallowed a mouth full of the Salt filled waters as this product will bring back holiday memories !! .... utterly inedible !! , foul taste !! and an ideal product to ruin any dish you attmpet to create ... On a more postive note , the glass jars may prove usefull once the contents are disposed of !!!

So versatile!
I cook a lot of Asian food and turn to black bean sauce a lot. This one with the addition of (a lot!) of garlic is the best I've come across. It improves the taste of everything I add it to. I go through buckets of the stuff!
