This worked great -- I needed to Extend the Length of my old Ethernet Cable, to reach the TV. I already had a short length of cable, & this Coupler connected the 2 cables just fine. I only needed one, & I resent being forced to buy more than I actually need -- welcome to the new normal.

Compact box with sturdy poly/plastic material. I have not measured performance yet but it’s working fine extending the cable to my NVR.

These are high quality Ethernet cable extenders. I needed this type of connector to both extend the length of one of my cables and to use it as a bridge to repair the broken Ethernet connector that plugs into my laptop. The clear locking clip of the connector broke off from frequent use and so the plug would not fit properly into my laptop's Ethernet port. I decided to wedge the broken end of the plug into this adapter with some electrical tape and glue to stabilize the connection. Then I discovered that the connector still needed to be further secured with some sort of compression method to receive a reliable and strong Ethernet signal. I resolved this issue by using a few zip ties to provide the pressure needed for a usable connection. The idea worked well, however, I recommend properly crimping a replacement plug with the right tools to fix broken connector end problems. These adapters are a good value and saved the day for me!
