Great playhouse for kids
We've had this play house for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier with the purchase! The play house lived indoors for the first year and was graduated to the backyard for year 2. My husband assembled the play house and said it took him a couple of hours (over 2 days) but was fairly simple to do. He also said that the wood was very soft and advised to be mindful when using a drill. We didn't have any pieces split but read that it was a common occurrence with this product. To be honest, the quality of the house has far exceeded our expectations. The product, overall, feels light weight so we were worried about its longevity but it has held up well. All of the additional features are absolutely adorable (kitchen sink, range top, phone, door bell- which we conveniently covered with some thick tape to help mute) and well appreciated by the little girl who it was bought for! If putting outside, we would recommend covering the house with a stain or sealant first. We ended up painting the house a different color (per the request of our daughter and not a project I'd probably attempt to do again) but we made sure to finish with an outdoor grade sealant and it has held up very well. I added two 4inch Terra cotta flower pots and filled with faux flowers, which definitely added that perfect extra touch! My daughter is now 5 and still loves to play in the house. Very cute and great purchase for the price. I have recommended this play house to other family members and will continue to do so!

Absolutely PRECIOUS!
This playhouse is so cute and well made! For my 1 year old daughter, it’s perfect! Even her older brothers are able to play in there with her as well (3, 6 and 8 yo). I love that it comes with the pots and pans and phone. It’s a simple amount of items to clean up and keep up with. The flower pot area on the front is darling. I am using 4 inch pots here and faux flowers. I plan to add some solar lights as well. Only cons would be the wood was easy to split. Based on other reviews I read before purchase, we were very careful about this but both triangular sunburst pieces on the front did split, one totally in half. We were able to still install it but will need to wood glue it or something. Others mentioned the strange gap in the doorway. I believe the gap is to help keep from pinching fingers and is helpful, but does look funny. The big thing for me is the wood piece that sticks out at the bottom of the doorway to catch the door. For a small kiddo playing with this, such as my one year old who is already unsteady walking, I foresee her tripping on this often. Other than that, I am so impressed and feel it actually makes our yard look nicer, rather than being an eyesore which is huge. I got this on sale for less that $250 and it is definitely worth that and then some!

Great kids playhouse
We've only had this for about a week, but my kids love it. It's well designed, everything looks good and feels solid. I think my kids will get several years of use out of it. But! Be more prepared than I was and make sure you either have a good level spot for it or pre-build a platform for it so that you aren't scrambling the day before (and then of) a birthday party. It took a couple hours for two of us to put together, but mostly it was pretty simple; just a matter of going through the steps. Oh, and disable the doorbell and pret and it doesn't work. You'll thank me for your continued sanity.

Great Toddler House – Engaging and Well Made Overall
Overall, we are pretty happy with the design and quality of this house. Assembly did take a good amount of time, but that was expected. The wood is on the softer side, so you do need to be careful using a drill, as it can split if you apply too much pressure—we did have one small piece break off, but otherwise no major issues. A lot of the accessories don’t have pilot holes, which actually allows you to customize placement instead of strictly following the picture. Everything was very clearly labeled and shipped well, and the size is great and very engaging for toddlers. My two-year-old is obsessed with this house. I do wish it came with the little plants shown in the pictures, but overall we are very happy with the quality. We plan to apply wood conditioner and UV protectant to help prolong its life.

Beautiful playhouse grandkids love it
I rarely do a review but I had to give kudos to this playhouse. Easy instructions to follow however be careful when drilling you may split the wood my husband was lucky enough to avoid splitting the wood and the end results I was very pleased. Don’t hesitate and purchase you will be pleased that you did ! Just wanted to mention that I modified the placement of the sink and stove. I also added the shelves and solar lights on the front of the playhouse 😁

Such a high quality playhouse!
Our two grandsons (ages 2.5 yrs and 9 months) were coming for a visit, and we wanted something special in the backyard for them to enjoy and explore. This little cottage has fit the bill perfectly. I am so impressed with this product, but I wanted to share a couple thoughts. 1. The quality of the materials (almost all cedar wood) is truly 5-star. It looks and feels like something a master carpenter might build by hand for his own kids, not like a cheap plastic toy from the mall. 2. The design is incredibly well done, from an assembly standpoint. When the box landed on my porch, I had a hard time visualizing how this little house could possibly fit inside, without it just being a huge pile of small bits of lumber that would be a nightmare to assemble. Once I opened the box and laid out all the pieces, I was so please to see the thoughtfulness of the design, which cleverly used hinged corner panels and other pieces to vastly reduce the numbers of parts and steps in the assembly. 3. The written directions for assembly are among the best I have ever seen. And I have assembled a lot of toys and furniture over 40 years of "adulting." I did not use the "app", but the assembly manual had clear diagrams, easy to follow steps, excellent labeling and description of parts. It was honestly a pleasure to be able to march through all the steps without agonizing over trying to interpret vague drawings or descriptions. (You still have to pay attention to detail - I made a stupid mistake very early because I wasn't paying close enough attention to the diagram, but caught and fixed it before it caused any problems). 4. I have a degree in engineering and a fair bit of "Dad" and DIY experience, and it took me 5 1/2 hours to assemble, working almost entirely solo. I did have to enlist my wife's help to align and hold the roof panels before screwing them in, as I didn't have enough hands to do that by myself. So you may want to budget more time than you think you'll need. I was working in the dark with a flashlight for the last hour. As well-engineered as the assembly process is, a single "step" might require you to fasten 32 screws. If at all possible, you should have some sort of powered driver for all the screws. I can't imagine having to drive all those screws by hand. (The wood is soft, so the screws go in very easily, but all those revolutions add up over time!) 5. The cottage is the perfect size for our two grandsons. But Grandpa is a bit bigger, at 5' 10" tall, waist about 46", and generally an XXL. At my size, I didn't get too far into the build before getting into, out of, and working inside the playhouse got a little tricky. I worked by reaching my arms through the windows as much as I could, but crawling in and out through the doorway was unavoidable for several steps, and if I was any larger it would have been a real problem. Just an FYI for any beefier assemblers out there. All in all, I can't recommend this playhouse any more highly. My daughter now wants one at her house on the other coast, and I suspect I may be flying there to assemble that one too!

Great Playhouse!
I am a 30 year old single mom and I would consider myself pretty intelligent and great with my hands. I love building things (with instructions mind you). I had a lot of fun putting this together. I done it on my own without help, although a second hand would have been helpful for some pieces. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. It even came with drill bits to match the screws and bolts. If you don’t have a drill, this would be extremely tedious with a screw driver. It took probably 2 1/2 hours total to do it on my own. It might go quicker with two people. Since it is cedar, the wood is relatively soft, but it’s very sturdy. I will say, you need to crawl inside to install some pieces and there is not a lot of room for an adult. I am 5’3 140lbs and it wasn’t a tight squeeze to get in, but it would be hard for a large person for sure. Overall, I love this product so much! Some pieces were already pieced together so that was super helpful as well. For the price, this is a GREAT product. I would recommend to anyone I know!

Annoying to put together but cute playhouse
I looked at a ton of playhouses and decided to go with this one. It was kind of hard to put together - the instructions aren’t super clear and some pieces of wood split even with going slow. The instructions also said that certain tools were needed, so I went to Lowe’s and bought a lot of expensive tools that the instructions never clarified where/when to use the tools. I was able to put this together pretty much by myself over a few days (had my husband help hold stuff a few times) working on it when my daughter was napping. It’s pretty plain by itself but with some decorations it turned out cute and I think my daughter will love it!

Gorgeous cubby house
I bought this cubby for my son and he absolutely loves it! It’s beautiful, sturdy, and full of fun features like the little kitchen and flower boxes. The white finish looks gorgeous in the backyard, delivery was super fast, and assembly was easier than I expected.

Cumple su función.
Muy bonita. Montaje bien explicado.
