I decided to invest in this after having my eye on this for a while, recommended by someone I know. I'm a busy mom of two and don't have time to get my nails done at a salon, or have time to wait for it to dry between coats at home. When I do manage to get my nails done, they peel off within a day and it's frustrating.So I got this when it was on offer and this is the best decision I've made! This kit comes in a lovely box and could be ideal to gift. There are so many colours to choose from, so given the sun's finally out I went with a bright colour, but looking forward to using the grey, black and two of the pinks, coral and burgundy!I tried it as soon as it arrived and it was super easy and quick. It was very easy to apply, the bottles are small so the brush isn't massive, which I like as I feel I have better control over the application. I love that you're done so quickly and can get on with doing manual tasks straight away, rather than touch everything delicately in case of leaving a mark. I used to do it in the evening and leave a few hours till bed time and still managed to get prints on my nails in the morning, I think now I can safely say this is a thing of the past.I had to purchase a UV lamp to cure the gel polish (LKE UV nail lamp) and the whole process was done in 15min.1- Apply a layer of the base gel and cure for 60sec.2- Apply a layer of colour (I only needed one with the turquoise so I don't know if it's the same with the rest) and cure for 60sec.Both these stages made the polish feel a bit tacky to the touch, like nearly dry polish so I did 2x 60sec curing just to be sure but it was still tacky. Just trust the process.3- apply the top coat and cure. Again I did 2x 60sec and the finish came out shiny and smooth just like in the salon. It tingles slightly if you put some on your skin around the nails so try and be careful when you apply but anything left on the skin comes off easily.Honestly it's a game changer for me, no more removing polish after only a couple of days because it peels off or polish that has pillow marks all over it, this looks shiny and professional, super happy with it!

I have bought at least 10 of Lavender Violets gel nail Polish sets. Obviously I've become a little obsessed with them because of the quality and value. I did use gel polish in the past which cost about £12 for one bottle so when I discovered Lavender violets sets, it was a no-brainer to get them. At the price, it was no great loss if they turned out to be rubbish. I'd never heard of blooming gel before. I googled the term and watched tutorials on YouTube. The week before last, I tried out snakeskin effect and it turned out quite well for a first try. Exactly a week ago, I tried out floral effects. I have taken a photo today showing what ot looks like after one week of wear. I have used some colours from other sets of Lavender Violets so not all of the colours used are in this set. I used the base coat with one coat of black then a glossy top coat, curing between each coat. Once the top glossy coat was cured, I applied a thin coat of blooming gel then applied dots of colour using a dotting tool. I bought a set of dotting tools and brushes separately. Due to the nature of the blooming gel, the longer you leave the dots of colour on, the dots spread even further so I suggest you do each nail separately and then cure it as soon as you like the effect. After curing, I dotted some silver sparkle then cured again before applying the final glossy top coat. I shall try and do white petal daisies with a yellow centre next time. I'm not sure what colour background to use because the choice is incredible.

Great value for money, excellent selection of colours. Nice solid colour consistency and not thin and watery like some. High shine finish. Curing took around 60seconds longer than usual but would highly recommend. The little storage box was a bonus 👍🏼💅🏼

I purchased these polishes at the end of March 2018 and wanted to wait a little while before reviewing this product to check first how well it worked. I will add this is not a sponsored review and made the purchase with my own funds. I wanted to simply share this my view because others people’s comments have helped me in making the decision to purchase this product.Overall i’m Really happy with the product:Base coat: great formula, really easy to apply, a little bit goes a long way, cures well in the LED lamp (I cured each coat of base coat, polish and top coat for 1 min to be sure it dried. Although I am confident 30 seconds would have been enough.Top coat: also a great formula, not too runny nor gloopy, there is no requirement to prep any of the steps. The top coat dries without a sticky layer (in my view this is absolutely amazing - I have never before done my own gel nails and I was able to do an amazing job)Colour: all the colours are really pretty. The formula IS a little on the thicker side, but I actually preferred this for the colour because it was easier to apply I thought that those polishes you get which run all over the place. I prefer a thicker formula which I could distribute easily and not get the colour into my cuticles. The brushes are a good size too so it’s really easy to apply.Overall this product I highly recommend,the bottles of colour are small, but could easily provide between 3-5 manicures for all ten fingers in each colour. Considering that one manicure costs £30 in my area, that is approx 100 manicure (£300) worth in one small pretty box :)Drawbacks: the only drawback is the removal: it’s funny so many people have said that this polish came off within days - because I couldn’t get it off my nails even after soaking it in acetone for 20 mins! Mind you, I have tried to do this after applying many layers of polish (my first manicure was a marbled manicure with multiple colours - which is really great to do with these because they do not dry out and can be easily wiped off), and I have tried to take it off one week after putting on the design because I didn’t like to wear the same design for that long and wanted to change my nail colours. I suggest to try wearing for the full two weeks and probably by then there will be a little wear on the nails. There was a little chipping on the tip of the nail but I did this myself and I did not seal the tip of my nail with the top coat.I attach a photo of the manicure I have just done and after sealing it I can see that this polish will not come off for next two weeks - for sure.I will definitely recommend this product and will be buying more of the other colours from this brand, because the formulas are great. Disclaimer: the colours are fairly opaque, but I still used a base, two coats of colour and a top coat.I hope this review clears up some of the questions which arise when purchasing these kind of products over the Internet.

I am a beginner and is litterally the second time I did my nails at home. (First I did with mylee and did not go well) . Started with the red then moved on to blue and purple so my technique improved. What can I say: very easy to apply. Smooth consistency, no gloop, no bubbles. Easy aplication and blue and red only used one layer, so great coverage as well. Matt finish brilliant, but be aware that it can get stained (think pen, ink, hair colour etc) so is harder to maintain but it looks awesome. Nail polishes are small (3-4 applications max) but base and tops are normal size. It does last! None of them chipped or lifted, i removed myself after 2 weeks as i was getting bored. Make sure you keep base, colour and top on nail only (mostly will lift if you dry it on the skin or cutticles so there is no seal) if you make mistake fix before putting in lamp. And prep the nail, just a quick buffer and wipe with alcohool before ( no need to spend pennies, use what u have on hand:acetone, alcohool hand sanitiser, surgical spirit etc) and you will have no issues! Very happy overall, will try another selection with more pastel colours!

Really happy with this varnish. The colours are properly opaque - which I love - and it goes on nicely. I recently developed an allergy to Beetles polish and thought that was the end of nice at-home nails for me, but this one hasn’t caused any issues at all. Very relieved (and my nails look great again).

So I really love the colours in this set, and I've used the brand before and had zero problems, I know how to use gel polish.But, the black seems to have issues.The first time I used the black, I thought it was me and that I had done something wrong.It wouldn't cure, and when you thought it had cured, I'd be doing normal day to day things, and find the black leaking off of my nail. Which then causes a mess, especially when you are out!So, I removed that gel polish off my nail. And tried again, cured it for longer at each step. (Yes I shook the bottle before applying).The same thing happened!I gave up and decided to use a different colour on the nail. Not a problem.I have used the black again since then, and I'm convinced something is wrong with it so I've given up because the last time I tried, it ruined some of my clothing when I thought it had cured.This is just my experience, it hasn't put me off buying from this brand again, because the other colours I used were absolutely fine. I really wanted to use the black though...

Mal producto, llego defectuoso, los esmaltes tienen grumos/ bolitas y el que no tiene los grupos está duro como el cemento,no se pueden utiliza.Me puse en contacto con el vendedor y al principio muy buenas palabras para solucionarlo pero después nada, he perdido mi dinero y me he quedado sin los esmaltes.

Fait l’affaire pour débuter mais ne peut pas être utilisé seulement ainsi, doit être utilisé avec de la base.Certaines couleurs font un peu « fausses » mais c’est ok dans l’ensemble

Also gerade für Anfänger ein super Set, um es kostengünstig mal auszuprobieren. Tolle Farbauswahl, der Blooming Lack und der Matt-TC sind auch ganz gut... Alles härtet gut aus. Man kann jede Menge Designs ausprobieren. Lediglich der goldene Glitzerlacke ist eingedickt und unbrauchbar, aber mit einem von 24 kann man leben...Einzig die Inhaltsstoffe könnten für den ein oder anderen ein Minuspunkt sein, denn für den Preis muss man nicht erwarten, dass das Zeug "allergiearm" oder "nicht ungesund" sei... Man kann halt nicht alles haben 🤷

Très bon rapport qualité prix !Les couleurs sont vraiment chouettes et fidèles à la photo!J'en ai testé plusieurs et si le vernis est bien appliqué selon le mode d'emploi il tient très bien.. travaillant dans le médical je me lave les mains 100 fois par jours et le vernie ne bouge pas!Le p'tit plus, le top coat mat pour changer un peu de style!Si ce commentaire vous a été utile merci de me mettre un petit pouce!
