Does anyone know if this bag will fit in an EasyJet bag checker? Thinks it's a bit bigger.... 55x40x20 and this is 56 x 45 x 25 cm ?

Just to confirm - most times you will get away with it. As Scotty said you may have to check it in, but you will NOT have to pay for it as it exactly matches Easyjet's maximum size rules i.e. "If you choose to bring ONE bag that is slightly bigger than our guaranteed size but to our maximum allowed size limitations, 56 x 45 x 25cm including handles and wheels, on some busy flights your bag may have to go into the hold." The smaller dimensions are what they guarantee to allow you to take on with you i.e. 55x40x20

Question 2

How much stuff a can you get in the overnight compartment. I need to tak maybe a couple of shirts shoes and jeans. Will this fit?

There is very little room for overnight stuff which is odd considering its size.  Shoes might be a problem if you are using any of the other compartments for other things.  I have folders and papers in the other compartments which mean that I have very little room in the overnight part.  Just enough for my knitting, one mug, a tub of sugar and a tin of coffee (I work nights!)

My bag wad a Xmas gift for a family member for taking her equipment to college. She is very pleased with it. Her laptop fits perfectly and her folder fits in and all her other bits. Plus the separate laptop bag is useful. She did originally look at the swissgear bag but this one was better value for money.

does the removable notepad case attach to the trolley handle?

The laptop case has a strap on the rear, pull the strap away from the Velcro and slide the laptop case over the extended handle, so the handle is between the strap and the laptop case. Then you can use the space where the laptop case would normally be for extra clothes or my preference for duty free goodies ;)
