Very simple toy which will keep little ones amused and interested. Robust design and best of all; no batteries required!

My 2 year old son loves this. The cord is too hard for him to pull out all the way yet and hold it in place so he doesn't get the full 54321 countdown on his own. He's 2 he neither knows nor cares. He loves this. The vibration will rattle it off the table but that is part of the fun for Seth and he tries to catch it and save it before it falls. The dog is already aware of what is going to happen so scarpers. The build quality is great, it's a big heavy toy and that seems to be a lot of the attraction for Seth I think. So many toys these days are lightweight and sing to you. Why do nearly all toys have to bloody sing? This one doesn't sing which is good. Postman Pat has been to the moon in this as has Jess the cat and Mr Tumble and the Peppa Pig family. If a toy fits in the cockpit then it's been to the moon. XXX Now he's 2 1/2 he can pull the cord properly so gets the full countdown and run around with it as it flies through the cosmos. A very nice, well made and loved toy.

my little boy has a few Wow toys and I think they're excellent, in terms of build quality and functionality. A couple of reviewers have stated that they are disappointed by the lack of action at the end of the count-down, and yes it would have been nice to maybe have a light come on to signify the rocket blasting off, but my little boy just goes blast off and that seems to work for him. Does it have some of the longevity of some of their trucks and cars, maybe not but its age group is lower.

2 year old likes this, is a little wary of the vibrating noise but loves to watch the countdown numbers moving. The cord is a little tricky for him to pull on his own, and so is the red button that pops the top open, but he likes to watch/help and I'm sure will be able to do it independently as he grows. He likes to make the rocket fly regardless of the moving parts anyway. Would recommend

We bought this particular toy as a gift for our friends son who loves Wow toys. We have also have some Wow toys given as gifts to our boys. This Rocket was well recieved and looked fab in the box. The Wow toys we have, have all,lasted really well. The colour of them are as bright and shiny as the day we were given them, even the bath toy! We have found this range to be of good quality.

My grandson wanted a toy ‘Zoom rocket’ but, at the age of 2, I wasn’t sure what was out there? This toy is large enough, sturdy, bright & colourful. The spaceman is big enough not to be swallowed, although I play this with him in any case. He loves the vibrating feature, which makes the rocket move around a flat surface & moves the pictures. Clever and excellent value for money.

We bought this for our two year old boy's birthday. He likes spaceships, so we thought this would be very good. It's a good toy - well made, solid and does enough without the need for batteries (which is always a bonus). BUT........the spaceman doesn't stay in the cockpit. As soon as you stand him in it, he falls over. Or by the time you shut the lid, he is tipped over in the back. So, he spends half the time playing with it looking for the spaceman because he isn't where he left him. It's nothing that a well placed magnet couldn't fix. In all, a well made toy, but not brilliantly designed.

Doesn’t need a battery as the string pull makes it’s own noise and is very strong to withstand every day use. Loved by my grandson.

I gave this Special shuttle to my son and he just loves it. He plays all the time. Its just sweet and adorable. Price is a bit expensive but very good quality for a 3 year old and very stable. I don't think it breaks easily. Would buy it again. Highly recommended.

I gave my son this rocket for Christmas and he loves it! He barely gave me time to take it out of the box before flying it around the living room! The only complaint I have is that the toy astronaut does not fit securely in the ship so he is easily ejected from the rocket during “flight”. Fortunately the rocket has a face so I suppose it can fly itself. 😉

This was a toy for my 3 years old son. He wanted a space rocket so we discovered that there are SO many all kinds of them out there. Here is how we chose this particular one: We have too many 'push button', 'make a sound', 'lights on' toys. This rocket stands out because: 1. Its educational aspect is visual, not auditory (children learn to recognize numbers by looking at them + in an opposite order from 5 to 1). 2. It lets your child really work on his/her motor skills as they learn to pull the trigger 3. If your child just starts developing his imaginary play skills, this toy is for him/her because they can actively play with the toy in addition to pretending (the top of the rocket opens + the rocket wobbles when they pull the countdown trigger). 4. It is a steady standing rocket The only thing I wish would be different is that the little astronaut does not have his chair fit to his size, so he is kinda rocking inside the cabin.
