Excellent product but with full function battery backup not good. Not connecting with old version mobile phone.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent purchase of the Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch. After receiving the watch last week, I was excited to finally use it, but it has been completely non-functional since the moment I opened the box. Upon connecting it to the charger, the Fossil logo appears for only a brief second before the screen immediately goes black. I have attempted to troubleshoot this extensively using various power sources—including a direct wall outlet, a laptop USB port, and a power bank—but the device simply refuses to hold a charge or boot past the logo. I have already reached out via your online help chat. While the representatives were very kind and polite, the support provided was unfortunately unable to resolve the issue or provide a working solution for a device that appears to be defective from the factory. As a brand-new purchase, I expected a premium, working product. Instead, I am left with a 'dead on arrival' unit. Also the Amazon support here is sub-par. The chatbot tries and offers solutions for a watch that just doesn't start (e.g. restarting the watch) which isn't practical at all.

A real nice cool gadget which is a collaboration of Fossil-Google. While interface is Google's OS, the hardware is Fossil's. After using it for entire day, below are the PRO and CONS. 1. Thumb UPs: (i) The Google OS interface is user friendly and easy to navigate/ switch between apps. (ii) The Fossil Gen 6 watch is like wearing a smartphone on wrist. Almost all smartphone features are available in the watch including Google maps, Voice Assistant etc. (iii) Voice Assistant feature is an added bonus. User gets both Google Assistant as well as Alexa. (iv) Fast charging. The magnetic charging is designed as such that user can charge hassle free. Thumb Downs: (i) Fossil smartphone app which needs to be installed to interact watch with phone is sluggish. (ii) Alexa Assistant is a huge let down. User needs to pair with smartphone after every use. Better to go with Google Assistant. (iii) On using full features, the battery doesnt last full day. User may need to charge twice a day with full features.

This is by far the most stylish wearos watch. Nothing comes close. Its also buttery smooth in operation. It has alllll the features youd need in a wear os watch. The only con is a battery. If turn off all on display and tilt to wake I can squeeze maybe a days worth of life. But with those on and if I use sports tracking I get max 16 hours of battery life. Thats the only con and honestly Idm and i can live with that. Another good thing is the sleep tracking. Its super accurate. I dont see many reviews talking about it. Also get a screen guard for it. I hit it on stuff accidentally so many times.

Despite contacting both Amazon customer support and Fossil customer care multiple times, neither has shown any genuine interest in resolving the issue. Instead of taking responsibility for a defective product, they have kept passing the matter around without providing a satisfactory solution. As a customer, I expected at least a prompt response and proper support for a product that was defective from the beginning. Sadly, my experience has been the opposite. I would advise prospective buyers to think carefully before purchasing a Fossil smartwatch from Amazon. A product is only as good as the support that comes with it, and in my experience, both Amazon and Fossil have failed to provide the level of customer service that consumers deserve.

Dont buy.. Waste of money. Battery will drain within one hour when connect with phone.

Looks are good - watch needs almost 4hours to charge fully - battery stays only for 3days Not worthy

Great watch once I sorted all the apps etc.
