I collect various, but cheap, watches as a small hobby. I don’t get out much as I suffer from progressive MS. I bought this watch to see what “Infantry” watches are like. I have been left with a very good, positive impression of a fine watch in a strong case with a comfortable strap and strong pins holding the strap on. I am at a loss to understand most of the “one star” comments: I suspect some stem from ignorance, some from misuse, but those about the user’s ability to read the time at night I can’t support or disagree with. The strap, I suspect, would often be too tight (I was once told that the optimum tightness can be gauged by being able to insert the index finger of the other hand under the strap). The watch hasn’t got a “bezel” as one reviewer mentioned. And I found the pins holding the strap on to be able to resist my most active efforts to detach the strap so I could replace it with an easier-to-use (my MS makes strap buckles hard to use on any watch) metal strap. I think that it would be difficult to find a sturdier, better made or designed watch for the very attractive price! After I’d had, and enjoyed, the watch for a while, I changed the nylon strap for a metal one, obtainable from Amazon - well worth the search for it. Silver outside black enhances the watch. I’d include the picture I have of it if I could work out how! I liked the accuracy with which the second hand keeps to the markings on the watch face. Its performance compares well with other watches I’ve acquired for my small collection! My longer experience with the watch convinces me that, for the remarkable price, you’d be hard pressed to find better value for money!

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from a watch that's just over £20 but i was pleasantly surprised. It has quite a bit of weight to it has a crystal instead of plastic and the case feels nice and sturdy. Time keeping seems to be spot on at the minute and the strap is also of good quality. I suppose only time will tell if it lasts but at the moment I can only recommend a great little watch.

This is a very good watch for the money. 8 bought it primarily as a workday one so I wouldn't scratch my more expensive watches and it more than lives up to expectations. It is fairly robust, comfortable to wear and easy to read, the only thing I have noticed about it is that the winder is easy to pull out accidentally, which means of course that it stops the watch's mechanism which is why it doesn't get 5 stars.

Wanted an analogue watch for a change and I’m very pleased with this one. I’ve had it for a couple weeks at least now, and have broken it in. It fits comfortably on my wrist and keeps time well. It is simple to change date and time and looks really good. It claims that it has a sturdier glass on it that protects from scratches and i was intrigued because I work in a shop and my watches get scratched up, not dramatically but they do. So far, it’s lived up to the claim. Ive gently knocked it and scraped it against poles, shelf edges and doorways etc and it’s just as pristine as when I got it. The watch face glows nicely though I noticed it took a few days for the watch to start glowing at full force. The first couple of nights, I could see it but mildly, ie I had to hold it up to my face to really make it out, and now I can see it quite comfortably from a normal distance. It may not be the same for you, but I mention it only to say that if it doesn’t seem that bright for that long at first, give it a few days. My only niggle is the the watch band has two grips to hold it in place but only one of them moves and it always slides back does a little, meaning the end of the band starts to curl and catch on clothes but that’s a very minor thing and I genuinely like the watch too much for it to be a major issue. Looks good, feels good, has the day and date and overall, is a really good watch.

Everything works properly, but the strap is a bit spongy and remains wet for a while. The watch is a bit heavy, but I assume that's related to its robustness. Special mention to the customer service, I lost the buckle, but after requesting it, the missing piece was sent straight away. great value for money

Very nice small'ish design with easy to read dial. Very easy to set the date/date and time using the old type method, pull the dial crown 1 click to adjust the date digits and pull out one more to adjust the time and day(check out my picture of the settings instructions, so simple). Very neat and tidy readable day/day and watch face. Slimmer than most of the new type bulky digital watches that are all the trend these days. I prefer the slim type that will not catch on my clothing and other objects. I have rather large wrists but that wasn't a problem as I still have two holes spare after putting the watch on so I would think this would fit just about any sized wrist out there. Time precision: I set it exactly to the same time as my computer, down to the very second, and found after 24 hours it had gained 1 second exactly. So that would make the watch run 6.8 minutes a year fast(IF my math is correct?), I can live with that.

Utter garbage. Watch developed a humidity mark after a week with no exposure to water not even been left in the bathroom while taking a shower....shame because its a nice looking watch with a good strap. Should have bought the Timex or casio equivalent. Nul points. Here's the hilarious responsethe vendor! Sorry to bother you and thank you for your time. Here is some quick notes to avoid moisture, you could find it in our item description, user manual and Amazon message: Extreme temperature changes can cause moisture to form in a watch face. Going from a very cold area to a warmer area can cause the watch to fill with condensation.Lay the watch in the sun face up so the heat from the sunlight can dry out the moisture in the watch. Be careful not leave the watch in the sun for too long as it may damage your watch. The heat from the sun will “evaporate” the moisture or condensation from the watch. Or set the watch in a safe place such as a marble countertop and use the blow dryer on low heat. This is to lightly heat up the watch and remove the condensation. Use with caution as high heat can damage a watch and burn your skin. If the watch works well after following above notes, would you please bring your score up for customer service? For the price the quality of the watch is reasonable, it looks good, is easy to set the time and date, it seems to keep time well, the instruction manual for setting the time and date is concise and easy to understand, and it’s pretty comfy to wear (although I’d recommend wearing it a bit further up your wrist to avoid the knob digging in to the back of your hand, common problem with cheap watches). However, it’s fairly easy to accidentally pull out the knob and change the time with your wrist without realising, and the water resistance is terrible; I’ve had it for 3 days and worn it out in the rain once for about 20 minutes and it’s got water on the inside as you can see in the picture - I’d expect better quality for the price, especially the water resistance, but it’s not a bad watch

I've liked the watch very much. The design is marvellous and I onal look and can go with any outfit.

Für diesen Preis ist diese Uhr ein echtes Schnäppchen. Ich trage sie seit einem Monat täglich auf der Arbeit in einem rauen Umfeld, ohne dass ich Abnutzungserscheinungen entdecken. Sie wirkt wertig und ist ganggenau. Das Armband entspricht dem , was man bei diesem Preis erwarten kann, ist aber gut tragbar. Irgendwann ist halt ein neues fällig ;-)
