Makeup Primer by Lunar Glow. Primes & Hydrates Your Face for Make Up & Foundation Application 30ml.

I am allergic to silicone, unfortunately it is used so widely that I have problems finding products that don't contain it. That includes most makeup primers. whilst the 'silicone slip' might be desirable to most its not to me. I have had no reaction whatsoever to Lunar Glow and furthermore it does a sterling job of being a primer, improves the look of foundation and keeps it fresh no matter what.

It's early days but I'm thinking this might be the one for me. It's unlike any primer I've ever used (& I've used quite a few) I put a couple of drips on each part of my face and smooth it out with a soft makeup brush and let it dry before adding my mineral powder. Even through I'm older I still have an oily t zone and luckily not a lot of wrinkles, just a few around the eyes, and other primers have not lasted any time at all before things disintegrate. This one is different and lasts quite a bit longer. It hasn't given my skin any of the bad reactions I'm prone to & hasn't stung my eyes either. I can't say that I've noticed any discernible smell from it at all. I'm about to switch from my mineral powder to liquid foundation (I'm getting to that age where powders are not flattering) and I'm hoping it still works as well, but so far... this is the stuff!!! I'm thinking of trying out the setting spray too.

This product deserves 5 stars! But why have you only given it 4, I hear you ask? After all, it does exactly what it claims it will do, it's affordable, the service is great, so what's the problem?It's the smell!Please don't make me spell out what it smells like, I'm sure my review would not be allowed on here if I did! But I'm sure all the other customers who have mentioned the smell in their reviews know exactly what I'm talking about...My advice: Buy the stuff, hold your breath while you're applying it and you're going to love the results. X

This didn't make my skin any smoother or look any better before applying makeup, and I tried it with and without moisturised on top. My foundation looked better without it.Update - 10/03/18:I previously gave this product one star, but recently tried it again and find it much better. This time, I applied it (without a moisturiser underneath) and the very second it dried, applied my foundation and it went on much easier and gave a much smoother appearance. It also really smoothed out the creases/ lines under my eyes using it this way. Tip: If you apply your foundation before the primer has dried (still sticky) or leave it too long, it won’t give give you the desired effect. I am now very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

First time I buy this brand and it is not bad. Subtle scent and it is easy to apply and not greasy. I usually don’t use primer before make up but this one looks is does the job.

This product is unreal. I work in a café, and even after a day of making steamy coffees, running around waitressing and scrubbing pots in a boiling hot kitchen, my makeup was flawless. My foundation usually creases on my chin, around my dimples and under my eyes almost instantly after application, but wearing this product, my foundation didn’t crease slightly even after an entire day of wear! My skin also looked glowy, and my usual patches of dryness didn’t make an appearance. I literally never write reviews, but I just had to share how happy I am with this product! I highly recommend it, and of course the cruelty free and vegan aspects of this product just make it even better! I couldn’t be more impressed :-)

Great primer!I’ve always used a cream base primer so wasn’t sure how I would get on with a liquid one but it’s been amazing!My make up goes on over the top very smoothly and stays put all day. I normally have to top up through out the day as I tend to get abit oily but I haven’t felt the need to since using this!The only thing I found was, after applying the primer I would have to put my foundation on fairly quickly otherwise it wouldn’t spread aswell if it dried into my skin if left too long.Amazing primer would definitely recommend and buy again :)

My skin really likes this as its unscented and hydrating. You have to use a lot to see any difference with pores but that's what a silicon based primer is for. I have oily skin and it definitely helps keep the oils at bay! Only downside is, it does tend to oxidize my foundation which is a shame but luckily I have a much lighter foundation I use for the winter. In terms of value, oil balancing and gentleness on the skin, I'd recommend this. May not work well with some foundations.

..und immer noch total begeistert. Hatte immer das Problem, dass, durch meine trockene Haut, sich unschöne "Make-Up Streifen" bildeten. Seit ich diesen Primer das erste Mal gekauft habe, bin ich dieses Problem los. Er zieht schnell ein, bringt eine super Grundierung und hält gigantisch lange (auch in warmer Umgebung). Ich persönlich creme mir mein Gesicht immer zuerst minimal ein (wegen der trockenen Haut), schmeiß mir den Primer rauf (nur sehr, sehr wenig wird benötigt) und 1min später mein Make up. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Bezüglich unangenehmer Geruch: ist mir nichts aufgefallen, steht aber auch nicht drauf mir kokos duft oder vanille aroma, somit versteh ich die Aussagen auch nicht.

Just a little background info first... Before I apply makeup I wash and tone my face, then apply water based mineral sunscreen (kiss my face brand). I’ve only been waiting maybe a minute or two before I apply this primer and it applies great! No pilling! I’ve not experienced the sticky/tacky base that others say it gives. It just feels like skin once it dries. I only use 3 drops... one on each side of my face and a smaller drop on my forehead. If you look close you can see some kind of micro glitter or sparkle in the primer, but it’s not noticeable at all on the skin. And when I apply makeup, I usually just use a liquid concealer on my red areas to even out my skin tone and then powder, bronze and blush...then setting spray to knock down the powders. So after using this minimal makeup, I have noticed that the primer does diminish the look of my pores quite a bit! It might have helped that I did some pore extractions and pore cleansing a couple of days beforehand. The primer doesn’t make me have perfectly smooth doll skin, but I also don’t have the bumpy/dotted texture that I did before. Maybe its because this primer does knock down the shininess of my sunscreen. It’s not completely mattifying. Instead of having shiny sunscreen face, it looks more like natural moisturized skin. And the primer does seem to control oil and help the makeup last. So overall it’s a win for me and I’ll continue to use and re-purchase!

Base sous forme de sérum ( consistance et aspect ). Odeur assez discrète et neutre.J’ai essayé de nombreuses bases de maquillage qui m’a foi tenait leurs promesses mais étant bourrée de silicone, j’avais en fin de journée les pores complètement bouchés et donc des boutons.J’ai voulu me tourner vers une base qui n’a pas cet aspect siliconé ( comme par ex le porefessionnal de benefit ) et je suis ravie de son effet et surtout du fait qu’elle ne me créée pas d’imperfections à long terme.Je valide et recommande sans hésiter.
