Good stuff.
Awesome stuff. This is dry coconut fibre substrate that will hold humidity well if you add water to it, but it comes as a dry substrate which is perfect for desert dwelling reptiles or tarantulas. Good price for the size.

Good enough
Got it as substrate for my pacman frog, holds moisture well once it's been really soaked through.

I've bought this multiple times for my snake and my tortoise you get a decent amount, its soft and it's easy to clean up mess as it clumps together.

Good base for our indoor tortoise enclosure but downside is it becomes very very dusty!
We use this as the base for our indoors Horsfield tortoise enclosure. The tortoise did not like the bark based stuff and would tend to eat wood chips which is obviously dangers so we gave this a try. Tortoise has been using it for a few months now and he seems to get on ok with it. We have found it starts off ok but eventually break down into tiny particles and become very dusty and the whole room gets covered in a film of brown dust. To be honest with you I am fed up with wiping all the surfaces down everyday and even spraying the substrate with water does not help for long as it quickly dries out. I have just changed to the cypress mulch in the hope that it will be less dusty.

Eco Earth has been one of my go-to substrates for reptiles. The coconut fiber is soft, holds humidity really well, and is safe for digging and burrowing. It’s especially great in bioactive or tropical enclosures since it helps maintain a stable environment and breaks down naturally over time. The loose format makes it easy to pour and spread compared to the compressed bricks, and I don’t have to worry about soaking and breaking it apart first. It also mixes nicely with other substrates if I want to create a custom blend. I’ve never had issues with smell or pests, and it’s easy to spot clean while still looking natural in the tank. The 8-quart bag covers a decent amount of space, though you’ll need more than one for larger enclosures. Overall, it’s reliable, natural-looking, and does exactly what I need it to. Definitely worth keeping on hand for reptile setups.

Nosotros lo usamos para el WC seco de la autocaravana, y es lo mejor que hemos encontrado (no pesa ni hace polvo como la arena de gato, por ejemplo!
