Loads of great pictures and facts that even I found really interesting! Not the usual / standard facts you get in most animal books. My 2 year old loves animals and flap books, and whilst he may be a bit young to fully appreciate the facts in here, it’s a book that will definitely last him a few years! It also makes for a more interesting read for us compared to the usual flap books! I love the variety of animals and information, and under each flap are more pictures (not just text) so there’s double interest for little ones. I would say this book would be good for any kids up to 8/9 years and would definitely recommend for any child that’s a fan of animals.

Great book for any young dinosaur fans. Full of flaps to lift and interesting dinosaur facts. Lovely gift.

I highly recommend it for a curious child (3+). The illustrations are lovely, the Q&A are interesting (even for adults) and the flaps make it entertaining.

If you’re unfamiliar with the usborne general knowledge science and social studies lift-a-flap series it’s time you opened one up. These are ace for school age kids. I bought it for my kindergartener after she was enraptured with the library copy. We read it again and again and she wants to go thru all the flaps on every page, endlessly fascinated by the trivia facts. She’s learning a lot and thinks it’s loads of fun. I also took it in to my classroom for the students to see if they were interested and wow were they ever! Parents messaged me that day after school begging for the info on this book their kids wanted! Second and third graders love it and the info in it isn’t just the usual fun facts we all know already. It isn’t boring or tedious for adults to read with their kids. I’d say it’s written at an upper fourth to fifth grade level so your child may need help reading it but you’ll be glad you did!

Great quality, thick flaps and pages make it easy for child to go through the book. Great information concisely put together with colourful pictures. Makes a great gift!

The usborne books are great! We love the 'lift the flap', 'illustrated stories', look-see-peep inside', and now the 'questions and answers...' series. Literally all of them !Very informarive with at times facts i didnt even know and they have beautiful illustrations. A must have !
