LiteOn DS-8ACSH24B 8x Internal Slim 12.7 mm DVD-RW

Brought as a replacement for the one in my acer tower which had stopped working. Took 2 minutes to replace and seems to work fine at present reading and writing cds and dvds. Good drive and very cheap at just under thirteen quid you can't go wrong !!!

I needed this for my desktop pc as the original dvd burner had packed up, this was delievered very quickly, was very easy to fit and works perfectly. I can recommend this unit if anyone needs a dvd burner for their desktop pc that has provision for slim dvd burner. very satisfied with this item.

Replaced a broken dvd drive on a Dell Optiplex 3020 sff. Easily fitted, direct replacement. I did use a new sata cable as well.

Needed to test my laptop as thought my existing drive was failing but wasn't sure if was the drive or the mother board. Could not get over how good this was at such a low price. It is simple plug and play and instantly played DVDs and CD. Highly recommend.

La he instalado en mi Dell Inspiron 7520 y me va genial, los controladores se instalaron automáticamente, lee todo tipo de DVD Y CD, y los graba perfectos, muy contenta con esta marca y con mi compra, aparte el precio que tiene es estupendo y es muy fácil de colocar, lo puedes hacer tu mismo. This optical drive was simple to install and surprisingly inexpensive. My HP dv6 laptop couldn't recognize dvd media anymore and because it was a dual lazer it would still work for cds. The blue ray function stopped working the day after the warranty expired anyway. I never needed blu ray so this was the perfect replacement. All the functions operate as expected with no drivers required.

Un buon masterizzatore funzionale sia con Linux e windows10. La scrittura dei DVD-R/DVD+R si ferma a 8x mentre per DVD+R9/DVD-R9 arriva a 6x. La riscrittura è 6X per DVD-RW mentre raggiunge 8x DVD+RW. Legge i DVDROM a 8x. la scrittura dei CDR si ferma a 24x con buffer di 0.5 mb. Non ho avuto nessun tipo di problema usando Linux con K3b e con Windows10 usando la suite Nero Burning rom e altri software di masterizzazione.

Esta excelente el producto aunque rebasa por mm su tamaño, aun así fue una excelente pieza para reemplazar el anterior

Das Laufwerk meines Dell Latitude ist wie das gesamte Note-Book schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Rest funktioniert aber noch sehr gut (DELL-Fan). Da insbesondere Note-Books mit integriertem Laufwerk immer seltener werden, sind integrierbare Laufwerke ebenfalls immer schwieriger zu bekommen. Musste dann nur die Abdeckung für den Öffnungsschalter der beiden Laufwerke austauschen, was durch einfaches aber vorsichtiges Ab- und Aufclipsen, evt. unter zu Hilfenahme eines klenen Schraubendrehers leichter funktioniert. Für den Preis jedenfalls eine feine Sache!
