Warning Triangle - Red Travel Fold Up Safety Triangle In Case

Bought this for travelling to Europe because it is legal requirement to carry one in the car. At under £4 including P&P I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality - but in fact it is a perfectly serviceable item - more than adequate for emergency use - and it came with a red plastic container to hold it neatly in the car boot. Lift up the 2 arms, clip them together at the top, fold out 4 legs, and behold: one warning triangle ready for use. I am still scratching my head over how this can be done at the price. Blinkin' marvellous.

This is a well made item given its small frame. It comes in a small plastic case which is very easy to store. It was perfect for what I wanted which was to fix it to a post to my driveway with screws. For its normal use for what it is intended, that of warning other car drivers that your car is on the road or side of the road, probably broken down or with a puncture, then I'm not sure it will do the job. I say this, because it is very light weight and although I have not tested it in windy conditions, I'm not sure it will remain upright for long. The inner fluorescent part is made of cloth My two other warning triangle are much much heavier, more substantial and the reflective inner is made of plastic & not cloth. so beware this is very lightweight.

Value for money is high, as it will remain in the boot (hopefully) and probably never be used, thus a good weight off your mind that there's always one at hand. Talking of weight, this is not half as substantially made or as heavy as our other older Halfords Europa model. It's also mildly disconcerting to see the rather flimsy inner plastic triangular film which with I can see easily tearing from clumsy handling in urgent use, and the somewhat spindly and unstable metal legs. Not tricky to erect, but there's also a slightly unpositive central push-on catch, and a somewhat fiddly re-insertion back into the square tube. This might be somewhat harsh, but in very poor conditions I can see it either collapsing or blowing away, so your choice - you pays your money...

Very practical and high quality, comes with a case to keep it tidey and clean. It is high reflective and have a soild foldable stand to erect it in case of emergency. Highy quality for money. Definitely recommend buying.

Cheap and nasty with sharp edges. Case broke as I took the lid off. Very sharp edges and very lightweight. Can't see it lasting for long in use or staying upright. Hopefully I won't need to find out! Will look for another.

I already have a warning triangle, although it is about 20 years old now. But, as we are going to the Contenant soon, we needed a second one, hence the purchase. How times have changed. This is the same size, yet folds to about a third of the size and weight is again about a third of the old one. It is sturdy too. I will be buying a second one and discarding the old one.

Excellent price, but it's a bit flimsy: if there's much wind you'd need to put weights on the metal bars (which fold out, front & back) to hold it down. But it does the job and complies with European regulations, that you must have one in the car. If I were driving in Europe a lot I might consider a more substantial (and more expensive) one, but then it's one of the things you hope never to have to use.

Nice light weight warning sing comes in nice tidy box for storage.I use it for travelling abroad with my motorcycle because it doesn’t take up much room,it’s easy to assemble and stands up no bother
