Strong and easy to work with
This superfine epoxy putty is a game-changer for me, it's easy enough to use, is super strong, sticks to almost everything and sands to an almost polished finish using wet and dry paper. I use it for making small sculptural prototype pieces before going to the expense of metal casting. It's reasonably expensive but Milliput is high quality product used by professional designers and hobbyists alike. It lasts for ages as long as it's stored correctly - unmixed! I highly recommend Milliput over all the other epoxy patties that I've tried. 👍🏻

Too Early to Say, but This May Be Terrific Stuff
Just used this to repair a couple of tiny nicks in a porcelain bathroom basin. I'd been using another product, Cromer Bath and Sink Repair kit, for years, and was about to buy another Cromer when I discovered this. I opted to try this partly because it's hugely cheaper than the Cromer, but mainly because I've found that the Cromer doesn't last--after a few months, the nicks are back. In using the Milliput, I followed the added instructions posted by another recent user after (s)he had spoken to the manufacturer. While the instructions printed on the box tell you to take equal quantities of the material from the two provided sticks, and roll/knead them together for about 7 minutes before applying to the repair, the manufacturer apparently recommended rolling/kneading the combined material for 7 minutes, leaving it for about half an hour, then rolling/kneading a second time (for 5-7 minutes). It will be months before I can know how durable Milliput is, but I can already say this: It's not only much cheaper than Cromer, but, judging from the amount of material you get for the money, it will make several times as many repairs. On the other hand, Milliput involves more work to apply. Not only is there about 45 minutes of prep time (see above) before it is ready to use, but it is also impossible to achieve a very fine application with Milliput. After the Cromer filler and hardener are blended (which just takes 2-3 minutes), the mix stays quite liquidy until it cures, so that it is easy to apply a tiny amount to the repair with the provided spatula. The two Milliput components have a much more taffy-like consistency (i.e. a bit like plasticine), which means that it is difficult to prepare and apply the (usually) miniscule amount one needs to fill a typical nick. Impossible, really. You can't help but be left with much more Milliput material in place around the repair, which then requires a lot more sanding to achieve a good end result. Bottom line, though: if Milliput turns out to provide a long-term repair, the extra work will be worth it.

Chip!! 🍟
I purchased this Milliput epoxy putty to try and repair the sink in our newly fitted bathroom. My significant other decided to drop a stone soap dish on it which resulted in a thumb nail sized chip!!! After doing a lot of searching the Internet I came across milliput. It had loads of positive reviews compared to negative. I decided to take the plunge. I'm so glad I did. What a remarkable product. If you follow the instructions to the letter you won't go wrong. The colour match (for my particular job) was perfect. I realise there are many shades of white, but I guess I got lucky. It takes 24hrs to fully cure. But after 4hrs I was able to use wet and dry to obtain a perfect finish. I made slightly more than I needed. This enabled me to test the hardness without interfering with the sink. I was also able to use wet and dry on it just to be sure of things. If you're using any form of applicator to apply it to the job, then I highly recommend using water to prevent any sticking. Plus you'll end up with a smoother finish and it won't impact on the curing process. Highly recommend and at a terrific price point.

Fantastic product.
Amazing stuff. much better than expected.. I had to fill in a broken piece of melamine and it works a treat. I followed the instructions and for seven minutes I mixed the two different components and I could feel it hardening as I worked it in. It was very easy to apply and sticks like super glue. I only cut a mall piece from each tube as instructed and it went a long way. I have left it for a couple of hours and later I will sand it back. Very pleased with the price and would highly recommends this for repairing small items.

Loved working with this
Great stuff! After trying air dry clay and chucking it straight in bin I gave this a go. I’m no sculptor but it was so easy to work with, went rock hard and obviously didn’t need to be baked. Will definitely use again in future projects. I made the little mushrooms on this piece.

Milliput, but not as I knew it.
Why ohh why do companies mess around with good/great products and diminish them? Well , the answer is their primary focus on profitability at the expense of value and service for the customer. Case in point: I have used Milliput White for many years and regard it as one of the greatest products ever invented. Each putty "stick" came with the perfect soft vinyl bag that allowed you to keep it airtight (or as good as) and thus increase longevity. Now I find they have changed the protective cover on each stick of putty to hard cellophane/plastic with very little excess to twist multiple times and keep the product from hardening! Its obvious why they have done it and very cynical. Ohh, and Amazon packed it Inadequately and both tubes of putty arrived squashed! Its enough to make your eyes bleed!
