Bought this as a home use shaver. Love it, I'm the kind of guy who can't use a usual razer. Got very thick hair like an real Arab as I am, always get those ingrown hairs. Pain in the **. Have bought a couple of shavers that would promise the nessesary power to do the weekly job done. Latest disappointing product, to mention one. Was that philip's vacuum shaver, its very underpowered and very unpractical if u ask me. This one got everything I wish for, very powerful, quiet, light and small, beautiful, quality, very good battery time, very close and even shave (adjustable), very sharp blades, T blade, a neat stand with a charger. This is as I know a professional tool, and that's the feel of it! U can get other blades easily and probably other types of blades. I'm a craftsman, tools are my daily bases. U want the right tool for the job. And this is it for me. The brushed plastic on it is very impressive, it almost feels like aluminum and it feels good in the hand. Can't wish for anthing else! *Except for a small thing, if u change blade or adjust it, the first screws doesn't have the best threads so be careful. It looks like u can change that part in worst case.

I had been looking for a small detailer and found the Andis D-8. It is a pro instrument and can be zero-gapped; the blades are thin [compared to a full size beard trimmer and] are very sharp so, try before you adjust! It fits the hand very neatly and is extremely efficient in use. I use this for trimming my moustache and around my mouth. The detailer is 3cm across the cutting edge and in its general width and is 15.5 cm long. A very neat device. Run time is 2 hours. It comes with a charging stand or can be plugged straight into the mains and used whilst recharging [about 2 hours]. The plug is 3-pin and includes adapters for other countries. It is supplied with a small brush, a tube of oil, and four attachment combs. Having read the reviews for other small detailers, this definitely comes out top for me. I recommend this highly. They're good clippers, don't get me wrong, but the main switch is a cheap "open" construction and had become clogged up with hair trimmings, which resulted in the shaver failing to work on battery. Fortunately, it's quite easy to disassemble (requires imperial-sized torx driver to open, but at least there's no glue!) and, after electrical testing, just needed a quick blast with a compressed airline to restore to full operation. Still an excellent piece of kit and if I need to do this every couple of years, I've no objection. (Review edited to correct the original failed battery diagnosis which was actually a failed switch, and more easily fixed)

Amazing piece of kit. Coming from someone who has tried many many trimmers, I wish I’d gone for this one first. Better build quality than I expected. Well balanced, ergonomic shape and a brushed aluminium finish. Comes with every plug adapter you’d ever need. It’s super sharp, which was the quality I was looking for most - however this was after zero gapping the blade. This is a very simple procedure that moves the blades closer together. You’ll find many tutorials online explaining the process. Added bonus is the docking station and also the superb battery life attributed the the Lithium Ion battery. I use this regularly for trimming and shaping my beard and it does so effortlessly which makes it a pleasure to use unlike many others I’ve tried.

Stopped working after 6 months. Battery overheats and won’t charge. Was good while it lasted but for the money not worth it.

When my last trimmer died I scoured around looking for a replacement, when a hair stylist recommended this the: Andis Slimline Pro Li, however at first I was reluctant due to the price tag & the fact I’ve always been a Wahl man, however after reading some reviews which were hit & miss I decided to make the leap an bagged this for just £61.00. I’d say my first thought were damn it it’s got an American plug, however after I looked into the mix more it had several plug adapters which I’ve never seen that in a product before...the trimmer is sleek & very lightweight, & fits beautifully in the hand, which feels absolutely amazing. Another thing that struck me was how quiet it is, which is very rare for cordless trimmers as a rule. It’s got 4 attachment combs, 1.5mm, 3mm, 6mm, & 9mm You have to charge the unit, for about 2 hours when first purchased, & it stated you get 2 hours trimming time, I’ve actually got about 2 1/2 trimming time, but the average it states is 2hrs. This trimmer doesn’t come zero gapped but it’s really simple to do for a closer cut for close up work, & detailing you may want to do that if you want a closer cut, but that’s optional. I’ve never had a T-blade trimmer before so I’m new to that, but so far I like it, especially for trimming the moustache area. Now for the trimming itself-it trims really smoothly, unlike most trimmed which can snag here & there I never got that at all with this trimmer, it gave a nice smooth & even trim without snagging or tangling, & is fantastic for egging & shaping for sharp lines. I’d say my main gripes are the fact it’s not got a storage case, probably because it’s got a charging dock so the manufacturer assumes you will just put it in the dock. Also it’s pity there’s not a few more comb attachments, maybe a 2mm, & 4mm would have been good. However, that’s not 2 big of a deal, but I’d of liked a storage case for the price you pay, but these 2 things are my main gripe. All in all I’m really pleased with this trimmer, & I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to do some home grooming instead of going to the salon, or just trimming & lining your bread up, this is definitely ideal for that.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Estéticamente es preciosa, aunque el agarre es de plástico, es un plástico de calidad, es super manejable en cuanto a ergonomia. El peso es moderado pero suficiente para que sea muy fácil de manejar. Aunque es para acabados yo la uso para arreglarme la barba, después de muchas maquinillas esta no la cambio por ninguna de las anteriores, posiblemente de las mejores del mercado. Después de haber consultado a mí peluquero de confianza, me la aconsejó y es un acierto. En cuanto a potencia es una pasada, sólo con una pasada es suficiente. Viene con 3 cabezales rígidos de 3 6 y 9 mm. Además del cepillo para limpiarla y el aceite, también viene con adaptadores de enchufe por si viajas al estranjero. Tiene un piloto que marca la carga de bateria, este parpadea en cuanto está baja pero tiene batería suficiente para un uso completo. Se puede usar tanto de forma inalámbrica como con su cable enchufado. Después de unos meses de uso la recomiendo totalmente. Si quieres una maquinilla para barba, de buena calidad, y con buena calidad precio, esta es la tuya .

The blades are of not good quality and unfortunately you cannot replace it with a better product or product of the same brand. you have to exchange with the same product doesn't make any sense . so be careful when you buy this.

Pour Noël je m était pris une tondeuse Braun cheveux et barbe série 9 bref assez haut de gamme . Essai ... 10cm de tonde ça m arrachais la barbe , les cheveux ça faisait un bourrage devant le peigne bref 90euros a la benne j ai même pas pu finir la coupe .... J ai décidé de prendre mon temps et de me renseigner niveau pro après hésitation avec une andis outliner ,. Je suis parti sur ce modèle. Commande reçu en avance et déballage.....on est loin du tas de Merde braun que j avai acheter. Premier essai et la ... 😱Ça coupe net propre sans bavure nikel ! J ai ensuite réglé la lame a 0mm ça devient un vrai rasoir ! Attention à bien faire des essais sur les bras ou la peau est sensible pour voir si le réglage est bon et ne blaisse pas et ne provoque pas de coupures. Je m y suis repris a 2 fois.Le premier essai m a fait une micro coupure. 2 essai. Un laissant le tranchant de la lame au même endroit sur mon bras juste un trait rouge , sans que la peau soit coupé ...impeccable C est devenu un rasoir bref je recommande très fortement surtout au même prix que des grosses daubes vendues en grande surface. Par la même occasion je profite de ce commentaire pour souhaiter une belle année à tous. Cdt
