undefinedAbout the Author ---------------- My name is Irina Garmashova-Cawton. I am originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. I have been living in England since 2000 with my husband, son and my ragdoll cat. I studied at a fi ne art academy in St. Petersburg. This course lasted for fi ve years and I graduated with a degree as a Graphical Artist Designer. For several years, I worked in the Hermitage Museum and walked through the halls to get to my workplace. Every day I had the pleasure of looking at the best examples of world art giving me priceless experience and knowledge of artistry in its best forms. During the past 30 years my art has been exhibited extensively. During this time, I have won numerous awards. I have written tutorial articles for art magazines. My paintings have been used to create In-Depth tutorials for Ann Kullberg and have also been featured in two volumes of CP Treasures books. Recently I created three book covers for the fi rst books in a series written by bestselling author Delia James and published by Penguin Books. I am a Silver Signature member of the UK Coloured Pencil Society. In addition, I am a full member of The Society of Feline Artists where I take part, every year, in an exhibition in London at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery.
