Bought to replace a corded black and decker saw This is a delight to use. I couldn't really justify buying one of the higher spec Makita saws as I don't use them often. I'm not disappointed though. Nice quality and cuts really well

Love this saw, so much better than the cheap unknown make I had before. HOWE TOOLS, sent it out straight away and it arrived a day earlier than estimated and the price was better than I could find anywhere else. I just ordered a Makita Reciprocating Saw from HOWE TOOLS, again for a great price. Just in case your wondering, no I promise you I'm not affiliated to Makita or Howe Tools LOL, just a happy customer.

Item arrived on time nextday, well packed in Makita box. Bought with a Dasnight charger It feels like it looks ,well balanced ( with battery instu) fairly light , ergonomic , cut 47mm square pine like butter , cautiously on first cut , second cut with a quicker feed speed , the 60tooth tct blade that came included, it ate it up. A smooth clean cut. Few tools have the wow factor , this one defo is a quality great tool !! Ignore the over fussy complainers. First impressions count , early days yet , will update but i expect this brand will tick all the boxes and more . Great product / seller , would recommend to any one.

I'm really pleased with the saw; it's much lighter and easier to handle than my corded one. I'm just a DIYer and want it for small jobs like planters, etc, and it really is good. Before you buy, check if you need a left- or right-handed blade. I didn't check, but it makes little difference to me, but there is a difference in how left & right are used.

Happy with this little dude. A review stated it didn't work with the smaller batteries, so I've got a bigger one on order. I figured why not give the 1.5 aH batteries a shot, and they worked fine. Cut up a couple pallets no problem with the stock blade. Seems to do what it says it can do. No bells or whistles. Safety switch. On. No brake. Like all the simple saws I used growing up before stuff got fancy. Not that I mind fancy, but for the price vs function of this little saw... I'm happy. It's prefect for my purposes, puttering about with small projects in a one bedroom apartment. Do some quick cuts out on the balcony during daytime hours. I did just get it yesterday, but already got some stuff done I wanted to get done.
