Our ultrasound transducer has a very polished head. When used with some gels, the head is prone to sticking regardless of how much gel is present. It doesn't happen with this gel. Note that this gel is lightly coloured (blue) and slightly perfumed.

Sensory Feedback & Future Choice • Skin-friendly: I bought this Aquasonic 100 ultrasound gel because the brand has a reputation for being hypoallergenic. I was pleased that it proved to be kind to my sensitive skin. • The "Baby Powder" Factor: If you love the smell of baby powder, this is for you. Personally, I find the scent off-putting and unnecessary. I also don't feel the blue dye adds any value. • My Next Purchase: Because of the fragrance, I will definitely be switching to the Aquasonic Clear version next time. It offers the same professional conductivity but is completely fragrance-free and colourless. Safety & Warming Tips (Important for Home Users) • Applying cold gel can be a shock! However, warming the whole bottle at home is a bad idea as it can encourage bacterial growth. 🦠 Instead: • Decant for One Use: Only pour out the specific volume you need for a single session into a small, clean decanting container. • Warm Safely: Warm that small amount separately (e.g., by placing the small container in a bowl of warm water). 🌡️ • Avoid Contamination: This protects the main bottle from heat and ensures the remaining gel stays fresh and hygienic. Never use a microwave, as it creates dangerous hot spots. Final Verdict • A reliable, high-quality gel that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It’s effective and cleans up easily. This is for the Aquasonic 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel (0.25 ltr) sold by Ana Wiz Ltd and Fulfilled by Amazon for GBP 4.59 (clarifying because it seems that sometimes reviews appear under different products/sellers/prices). The gel is good but it can be hard to get it out of the bottle once it starts running low.

Gel conductor para usarlo con electrodos de electroestimulación (TENS). Funciona a la perfección con electrodos autoadhesivos y no hace falta poner esparadrapos de fijación externos. Lo uso con electrodos Beuer y se fijan a la piel perfectamente echando una pequeña gota de gel en cada uno de ellos. Con el gel el rendimiento de los electrodos aumenta un montón, incluso se ha de bajar la potencia en muchos casos. Muy recomendable
