Toppik, Hair Building Fibres Powder for a Thicker-looking Hairline 5

This powder is amazing, and so easy to use. My husband washes his hair every 2/3 days and the powder lasts all that time so it only needs to be applied twice a week. To get the result in the photo of my husband shown, I brush his hair through and lightly spray it with got2b glued hair spray, pat the spray then apply the powder, pat the powder and style with got2b spray. So impressed!

Its a great product but it requires to be applied with skill and only for certain people. 1. You will NEED HAIR on your head! If you have not enough , this will create an effect of an "ashtray dipped head" and will look awful to say the least XD. ( My pal with less hair than me tried , and we had a lot of laugh with the result ) This works for me because I still have a hair, only thin. It does great job thickening them , but it won't produce hair ! 2.You will need fixer spray ! Dont skip this ! Or you might be up for embarasing surprise ... 3. Colour is great and the way this behaves is awesome . Cycling Jogging Walking , light rain and strong wind no problem! 4. Surprise - you can actually brush and comb yer hair ! however buy a pro comb - they are ANTISTATIC!! IMPORTANT. 5, I would say your hair would need to be longer 5-10cm at least (or longer ) - then the effects are better , very short men hairstyles might not create enough "foundation" to allow the fibres to anchor themselves properly. 6.dont put too much , this is a concealer not alternative to real hair :) It WON'T produce hairs . It will only make you look awful if you overdose .....

The product is impressive. It's not perfect, but it does a pretty good job and despite a few things that I don't like about it, I really don't think I can live without anymore. I've always looked younger than what I am, I've started losing hair 3 years ago due to the stress of my business, but I never really cared, because I've never *really* seen the back of my head and sides. But recently my gardener told me "we must be around the same age". When she said that I knew something was wrong. When I was 25 people thought I was 18 or 19. And now with 32 I look like 40? So that was a eye opener for me. Today was my first day out with Toppik (black) and it was a perfect day to test it: it was very windy, but I can tell you that after almost 10 hours walking around the city, I still have the fibers securely held in place. The product blends almost perfectly with my hair. Sometimes it's a bit itchy but nothing relevant. I don't like the texture of it, it's weird to touch your hair with the product on, it does really feels like you have coal or chalk in hour head. However, it's undetectable. My girlfriend and friends couldn't detect it (only after I told them). So that's pretty positive. I started minoxidil one month ago, so my plan is to use this until my hair grows again, because I've been investigating a bit the ingredients of Toppik and I've heard a few mentions of potential risk of cancer, so I want to use this as less as possible. They should remove the dangerous chemicals even if the shelf life is shorter. Safety should be always the number one priority. Overall, I look younger again, and I'll keep using it for a few months while minoxidil does it job. I've added some before and after pictures of me using Toppik.

This is really quite amazing stuff. I have andro-genetic alopecia and was finding it really hot wearing hats over the summer. I bought this along with Restrand hair building spray to try them both. Restrand I found ridiculously messy and difficult to put on. This stuff on the other hand was super easy and quick to apply. Its like a little salt shaker which you shake over your head where your hair is thinning or have bald patches. You can build it up to your desired density. I think it takes me only about 3 minutes to put on and it stays on throughout the day - through wind and even when I got caught in the rain. It looks completely natural and people can never tell unless their eyes are right beside the top of my head (which is never). The only downside is that it can be slightly messy and creates a kind of dust over my sink. Apparently the Toppix applicator is meant to minimize this and make putting it on more precise although I haven't tried it yet. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who suffers from alopecia or other forms of hair loss.

It's ok, a decent product as long as you take the time to apply it really carefully. Otherwise it can clump/lay on the scalp & then you just look dirty. Probably only suitable for people with slightly thinning hair. Quite expensive.

This powder is amazing. As you can see, my hair is very thin and around the crown area you can see my scalp. The Toppik powder covers this completely and makes my hair look fuller instantly. Really easy to use. I style my hair first then see what areas need covering. Shake the powder over the areas and then pat in. Finish with hairspray so it stays in place all day!

This has been a real lifesaver for me since I had hair thinning at the front which you can see my scalp through. This covers it up without being at all noticable. Ive never had a issue with it running off or anything

I have for the past 5 years had thinning hair on top, particularly at the front. I have dark hair and I hated being in social situations where lights were shining down on my head exaggerating the thinning. I always loved my thick head of hair and I found the thinning really knocked my confidence. Eventually I decided to try this out and was totally amazed at how well it works. It thickens the hair (particularly at the roots) and hides the thinning even under dreaded strong direct overhead light viewed at close distance. Its the next best thing to having my old head of hair back - you just can't tell I'm using anything. It works by thickening the existing hair and darkening the scalp. It is best applied by parting at the roots in several places with light sprinkling and building up from there. Care must be taken to avoid clumping at the hairline. It takes only a little practice to most effectively apply this. It even lasts for days in between hair washes, so I use very little. Be warned though, any excess does come off on pillows! I cant think of a cheaper more effective way to hide the thinning. I now have my confidence back! Highly recommended!

Good filler for sparse areas or to fill in where you part your hair for a fuller look . Lasts a day or so. As long as you get the right color to match your hair it looks good. I do spritz on a light gloss hairspray so it doesn’t look dull as it can if using a lot or a larger area. Would definitely buy again and recommend getting the small option to have in purse for touch ups on long days especially in the summer if you’re active.

Overall works great! A nice temporary solution for when you need it. I always keep a couple of bottles on hand. Make sure you use hairspray after you've applied to keep it from getting on things.
