Golden State Art, 8X10 Ornate Finish Photo Frame, Silver Beige Color, Real Glass

I bought this to frame a piece of art, as an alternative to spending hundreds of dollars for a custom frame. It's surprisingly nice for an under $30 frame! Some reviewers have said it's plastic, but it's marked with a label as consisting of wood composite. It's substantial, has a nice weight, and looks pretty nice hanging beside art framed in $300+ frames. The mat is nicely cut (although not likely to be archival quality). The frame arrived well-packed in a foam sleeve with no damage to the frame or glass (real glass!). There are flip-out metal hinges on the back for hanging on both the sides and top. One could easily wind picture-hanging wire fastened to the hinges if you prefer hanging with wire. The sides of the frame are stapled together, but they look solid and stable. It was the wide variety of sizes in which these frames are available that initially sold me on the purchase. Glad I bought this.

I'm glad this is the one we picked for our 11X14 frame! I've bought multiple frames now from Golden State Art previously, so I felt good about finding another frame with them again. The frame arrived in perfect condition in a box made to fit their frame, and then inside of another box from Amazon. All four corners of the frame had black plastic corners to protect it (see my last picture) and then it was wrapped in plastic. It was well prepared for shipment by Golden State Art, in perfect condition. That said, the quality of the frame is very nice. It does not have any marks or scratches on it anywhere. Very nice quality control for it. The size was exact and fit my 8X10 picture precisely. It has REAL glass in it too. The matting in the frame is an actual angled cut to the mat. I love the design of the frame as well. It's very pretty. The color of the frame online appeared to me to be a bit 'greener' of a gold than the actual frame, but I thought it still works well with our print and is very pretty. I found the frame very easy to work with, and it was easy to hang. The frame also seems strong and well-constructed. All in all, I love the frame. Another win from Golden State Art!

I wanted leave a quick review for these heavy-duty frames. I just printed several digital down load prints I purchased from my go to Etsy shop - Willow Plus Bleu Studio. They look fantastic in these frames! They really highlight all the colors in the prints . The glass is easy to remove in order to mount the prints and then re-install. I will certainly be buying these again. Update: Just purchased again for Christmas decorating with new holiday digital prints. Same great quality and fit.

Gorgeous picture frame. Well made and very sturdy. I put my Great Uncles award he got from serving in World War 2. It looks stunning! Perfect!

Pretty frames with great hanging hardware but the corners arrived dinged; but not bad enough to bother me to return.

This is a lovely frame. Even though it is plastic it looks so much like wood. I liked it so much I have now ordered three. Unfortunately the last one was broken. That happens and Amazon offered a refund.
