OXO Good Grips Microfiber Hand Duster – Double-Sided Flexible Head – Slim Profile for Tight Spaces – Washable & Reusable – Non-Slip Handle

I bought this particular, hand duster. I had read an article, giving proffessional advice, on the best type of duster to use. I already know that microfibre, is rated very highly. I also know that this make, has good reviews. It's not my first, microfibre hand held duster. I had another make before. They have come a long way, in the quality and effectiveness, of microfibre dusters. They work in a similar way, to the old feather duster. Trapping dust, almost magnetically. This one has a good grip. Hence the name. It is about 18" (46cm) long from each end. The handle is 7.5" you can work that one out. 4.5" width of duster. It is quite flat. Has a popper on the end of the duster. That clips on or off the stem. The fabric is very soft. Almost similar, to one of those, multi fibre mops. You just slide the duster off. To wash or change. I have tested it on a few surfaces. It can catch on rough ones. It cleaned between the slats, of my portable radiator, very well. Under the t.v., mirrors, tops of doors etc. Window ledges. I am 5' 3" and l can reach, low ceiling lights with it. My problem is, that l have three parrots. I have developed a cough. That's not good! I have to be extra vigilant, with the animal dander. A soft cloth, is not enough. Even after cleaning the surfaces daily. I used this today. There was a fine layer, of parrot dander. Over everything. I never use chemical sprays, polish etc. Only damp cloths. I prefer steam cleaners. However, l don't want to wet, all my surfaces daily. I cannot use chemicals, with the birds, anyway. In the bathroom and kitchen. I use a professional, none toxic cleaner. White vinegar is good. Added to a fine mist spray. Or onto a damp cloth. I personally, would not put this duster, into a washing machine. I just gave it a good shaking outside. When it needs a wash, l would rinse under running water. Dry it naturally. No detergent. It's dust! Not grease. My last one lasted 20yrs. This one is a lot softer. I like the cheerful colour. Microfibre can be a bit harsh. I would not use them on delicate objects. Like ornamental treasures. Then l would use, a very soft cloth. You know, those dusters. Or a computer magnetic mop. A few fibres came off, whilst unwrapping. That was due, to it having some sticky binding tape. Around the handle. I highly recommend, this duster. If after more use. l need to add a foot note . I will...I ordered from Prime last night. It arrived today. A worth while purchase. You can also get replacement dusters.

It’s easy to use, very sturdy and collects a lot of dust. I’ve been using it to get to hard to reach places like under shelves, under the fridge and behind the radiators. It does have a few flaws though. On one side the red fluff is a bit longer which means if you’re using it in a tight space under things that bit often gets caught and results in a cleaning tug of war with your furniture. It does lose quite a lot of its red fluff when you first use it. I’d recommend vacuuming this before you use it, thirdly while the end is removable and washable mine immediately got so matted with dust that even washing it hasn’t made all the dust come out. It basically looks quite disgusting and there’s nothing I can do to de clog it. I tried vacuuming it and washing it to no avail. Overall it’s good, it has an easy to hold handle and it does trap dust. Sadly it’s not perfect though.

This is a great hand held duster, As someone who struggles with keeping up with dusting, this product has been a life saver. It is easy to use and is perfect for quick touch-ups throughout the day. I love how compact it is, making it perfect for storing in small spaces, it can be hung up or laid flat. It is also very sturdy and well-made, it will last a long time. The duster cover is easily removable for washing. I highly recommend this hand held duster

So far so brilliant Dusts everything in sight! I didn't buy it for small gaps (have a thin duster for those) but the lovely fluffy head it perfect for surfaces, tables, books... I haven't had to wash it as the hoover pipe cleans the dust and cobwebs off. Bit worried that washing might felt the fluffiness and mat the fibres, will have to see at some point

The duster works well but unfortunately the most used parts get matted fairly quickly reducing effectiveness which is a shame. I've washed the duster part in the washing machine (nice that this is an option) but it doesn't help with the matting. The pictures I have taken show the duster after I have tried to brush out the matted parts. It was more matted before that but the brush I used started taking the fibres out of the duster they were that mashed together. It holds the dust well but I don't want to have to have a maintenance routine for a simple duster. OK product but loses points.

Handy little duster. Works well. Easy to use because, well you don’t always want to be wielding a 4 foot long duster, do you? Takes up very little space in your cupboard

Just what I wanted. Really handy & great to use for larger flat items like tables or window sills, etc. It's flat, so it gets in between things well. Quick delivery & good price.
