My in-laws home has shutters that no longer remained closed. I ordered these to replace the magnets and their enclosures that fell apart due to a decade of exposure to the sun. Well built. The magnets are strong enough to hold the shutters closed even with a good breeze but not so strong that they are difficult to open. Easy to install. Exact size to match the OEM magnets. Used existing screw holes.

Great for replacing broken shutter magnetic catches. These are very simple to install. The size and fit are perfect. In my case, the existing holes line up with the new catch. Making the size and fit perfect! Screws are included so if you can handle a screwdriver, installation is very easy. These catches secure the window shutter yet allow for an easy open. I installed them a year so ago and find them to very durable. Recommend purchasing this product!

Great replacement option for indoor shutters. It would have cost me more to purchase three at the big box store than it did for the package of 24. They worked out great.

I couldn't find the right size magnets at any of the big box stores, but based on a another readers comments, these were exactly they hole to hole width I needed

Lot of research to find the correct Magnetic catches for my Plantation shutters and these did not require any modifications to my existing mounting points & Fastener locations. I reused my original stainless fasteners to simply for myself. the 15lb pull is the correct strength as the OEM's. These are decent quality and match my crumbling originals that are 20 years old. OK, 4 stars decent value, decent quality would of been less than 4 stars if the value & Quality was a miss. What dinged a higher rating was the listed dimensions are not 100% accurate. I took a chance based on several others also seeing incorrect dimensions but listing their measurements. What I don't understand is why list the outside to outside of the fastener slot and not the center to center of the fastener slot. My 40 years of industrial engineering has always been to exact mounting point of the fastener. center to center of slot plus the exact dimensions of each slot. I pulled out my micrometer and went to work for a better accuracy. My attached photo has what I measured giving the nearest fraction of an inch instead of decimal for those that use a tape measure or ruler. anyone looking to replace their existing cabinet / shutter magnetic catches be aware 1 size does not fit all. Measure your existing ones and verify what is being listed.

I needed these to replace some magnets on my plantation shutters that started to disintegrate after twenty years. There are several options on Amazon, and the measurements can vary slightly. I am grateful to the two reviewers who took the time to measure these exactly, as I didn't want to drill any more holes if I didn't have to. These matched my current magnet catches perfectly and I was able to install them using the screws from the prior ones. Very happy!
