My son will be 6 at Christmas, would you recomend age 4-6 or 7-9, he wears clothes now for age 5-6, thanks

My son is a medium sized 6 year old and I got him the 7-9. The top just fitted but the trousers were massive. I'm glad I got this size though as the top is the most important part and if it was any smaller it would have not fitted him.

What is the sizing like. This is being bought for a larger than average 5 year old

We have a taller than average (but slim) 4 year old grandson and the trousers were plenty long enough to last him for couple of years or so, the waist was quite generous and obviously elasticated, the top is maybe not as generous as the trousers but still plenty big enough for more growth. I suppose overall I would think that it would fit a larger than average 4 year old, difficult to say anything more, sorry I couldn't be more help, what is average these days! The quality was very good though.

what size would i choose for a 7 - 8 yr old ?

My son is 7 in March, he comfortable wore the Medium 3 weeks ago for a school event. If your son is taller or fuller or more sized as 8 yrs, then perhaps go for Large? Its difficult to say really.... hope I've been some help.

Does 4-6 fit a 6 yr old?
