I suspect this is being return in error by a lot of people. Infrared heat is not like radiant heat, you will not feel heat coming from the head (although it might warm up slightly when in use). The infrared penetrates the body and warms up the tissue, but unlike radiated heat you will not feel the body part becoming hot, but you might feel it warming up. Just Google Infrared Heat for more information. So although I do not get a warm glow on my body, it does help with my pain. The manufacturer is not helping themselves by producing a poor instruction booklet.

little disappointed..it is quiet light in weight...thats ok if you dont wont to hanging on to a heavy professional..yes it does what it says viborats ...the infra red heat is weak it does not get warm very quickly....but overall you get a pleasant massage...one advantage you get a nice look handle..ideal to get down the back spine...arrived on time ...well packed for delivery...myself i could have done with a little stronger one ...8/10

We bought this because our previous lamp had failed after many years of service. This lamp only appears to have one very mild vibration setting and not much in the way of heat. Not sure it is doing anything beneficial.

Bought to replace a dying massager & SO disappointed. Having had a Beurer years ago I know they're NOT the best , this one being a plug in , which I wanted seemed an OK option.. BUT it isn't,. Small , lightweight, very little vibration into muscles but bizarrely enough to distort TV signal, attachments missing and quite frankly the WORST massager I've ever had.. and I've had a lot over the years.. unusable due to TV distortion... and total lack of pain relief.. hopefully I can return it.

It's perfect for me. I used to work for a small company over 25 years ago they imported and sold them. I didn't pick one up at the time with my back neck it's perfect

It does what it says on the tin and it’s a good price point, but the negatives outweigh the positives. Firstly, the infrared takes about 10 minutes to really warm up to the point that the heat is noticeable and with the rubber attachments you can’t feel the infrared at all. Secondly, the vibration is so loud that it’s quite difficult for it to be relaxing and thirdly, the entire device (rather than just the attachment) vibrates quite violently which makes it difficult to hold yourself without hurting your hands. All in all, it does vibrate and very strongly, but the volume and the vibrating handle means it’s not soothing or helpful for pain relief.

This is a brilliant massager. I find it helps a lot for my back pain. With a choice of heads including heat, also not too heavy to hold while using, I would happily recommend to anyone.

L'apparecchio per massaggi a raggi Infrarossi Beurer funziona Benissimo ha due funzioni una soltanto vibrazioni l'altra (più utile) Vibrazione più raggi infrarossi quest'ultima funzione Benissimo e usandola diverse volte, quando si ha dolore; riesce prima a attenuare poi con altre applicazione eliminare del tutto--Veramente un Ottimo Massaggiatore

It's a product worth buying since it is a designed medical equipment and the performance is good. Very handy gadget for elderly people.

Should have had three attachments only one was in the box and it had a European cord on it. This was a big waste of my time.
