Excellent - simple and "different".
Our grandchildren, aged almost 3, almost 5 and 6, often look for this as the first thing to do with me - particularly the boys, but the girls do like it as well. It's very easy, and any child who knows the colours can play it, with suitable support from the adult about which tracks to choose. It is usually almost entirely a matter of luck, and exciting reversals of leading car can happen at any point! The game board and pieces are very sturdy and well made.Altogether, a lot of fun and well worth the extra money needed to pay for a quality product from Germany.

Keeps my 4 y/o boy entertained!
This is a very good game for kids and operates on a couple of levels for younger players.Firstly, as with any roll and move style game, it encourages fine motor skills; something my son needs to work on.Secondly, their is a higher level of decision making for child and adult - the dice use colours rather than numbers and at some points you need to evaluate different options and the consequences of each.Thirdly, the game is well made, using wooden materials for the cars and die and a well constructed board. This isn't much of a surprise to me as I purchased another Haba game for my son earlier in the year. They seem like a good manufacturer. To sum up, lots of replay value, great fun for kids, more engaging for adults!

A Haba hit!
I’ve been buying board games from haba for my son who will be turning 4 in a few months. He’s loved Animal upon Animal and My First Orchard. This one was a hit with him as he loves dice rolling games. It’s a simple game and teaches your child how to sequence moves based on the colors you roll - and eventually your child would understand the strategy required. He’s already picked up on turn taking from the other haba games but this will promote that as well.

but it's easy for children to learn and it's pretty fun throwing ...
Monza is a game of largely luck and wouldn't have much appeal for adults (unless inebriated). In the game each player has a car, represented by a lovely colourful wooden car model, and takes turn to throw a bunch of dice. The dice have colours on them, rather than numbers, and match the colours of the squares around the racetrack board. On your go you use up the dice you have thrown to move forwards or diagonally onto the matching colour space. Once you have used up your dice, or there are no more possible moves, turn passes onto the next player. The winner, put simply, is simply the first player to make it past the finish line. It's an OK game, with not a fat lot of strategy, but it's easy for children to learn and it's pretty fun throwing the dice and choosing which order to use them in.

Very good game for 3 to 7 years old boys and girls.
Absolutely fabulous game. My son played it from about 3 to 7. Now my daughter (4) plays it. I bought this one for one of her friends (5) and she loves it too. Teaches numbers, turn taking, decision-making. And it looks great with the little wooden cars. A fab game all around (but then, Haba is a very good game brand). One round will last about 10 minutes, which is perfect within busy family life. It is not boring to play for the parents. Great, great, great.

Brilliant game to buy for a family!
One of our favourite games to play. Its a good mix of luck and planning. We love it and highly recommend it.You roll the 6 dice and move to the colours on the board that you have on the dice. Simple and fun.

An easy game for learning board game basics
Love this game for all of the family to enjoy together. We have recently been introduced to Haba games and this one is a nice game to get used to gaming. My son is 4.5 and enjoys this game, he understands the concept and doesnt get too upset if he is not in the lead. Nice solid board and as always with Haba comes in a good sturdy box that always looks nice on the shelf.

Adictivo
