Good GPU
Decent GPU with nice performance and easy to install of course if you know what you are doing.

Fantastic for the price and 1080p gaming
Amazing gpu for the price performs similar to the xbox one x and will more than do for any 1080p game up to 2020 and I imagine a few years beyond reaching 60 plus fps on ultra with most tripple a titles bar a few ac odyssey for example where you can expect around 45 to 60 plus although on high settings every game I have tested hits 60 plus fps on the lowest/base clock. Some say its loud but on the lowest clock it doesnt go over 76 degrees after a few hours gaming and fans seem quiter than the wraith stealth cooler. All in all it is a fantastic gpu for 1080p gaming although I wouldn't recommend for 1440p unless your willing to sacrifice some frames or lower the settings. Price at may 2020 was 156 pounds.

Good value 1080p gaming
Got this for my son at xmas as it was reduced at the time. It has been performing flawlessly so far in all games he has in 1080p ultra when matched up with a ryzen 7 2700x, B450 Aorus Pro Wifi Mobo & 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200. Seeing as he only has a 1080p monitor it has been great bang for buck and no issues with fitting or drivers etc. It hasn't even overheated as yet (usually around 70C when gaming) but it's in a good case with decent airflow. It's also been working perfectly with an Oculus Rift VR set. There may perhaps be games it struggles with such as Red Dead 2 but haven't tested with that game as yet. Its usually around 60fps which is good enough for whats required.

Sleek and a Robust workhorse
I bought this a replacement as my Sapphire card had reached End-of-Life. I was quite surprised at the performance I got out-of-the-box. Looking at clock speeds of around 1420 - 1425 MHz, this card actually comes as a factory overclocked GPU. The XFX 500 series also comes with a dual bios functionality which means I can choose between performance or quiet (aka Stealth) mode and from my experience I noticed a very minimal difference when I had it in Stealth mode. XFX are doing something right with this card. It comes with two cooling fans and is about 10.7 inches long (watch out for the length if you are using one of those boards that position the CPU too close to the PCIe slots.) You will find newer and probably better-performing cards on the market now as this one is probably about 2 years old but if you need something to hit the ground running with your gaming and you are on a limited budget, this is your guy. Highly Recommended.

If you have crashing issues playing only games
If you are experiencing crashing issues the fix is to go to AMD software which should be downloaded as it is your driver by right click on the desktop and then clicking AMD radeon software > Click performance tab > click tuning (if anything appears accept it) > turn on fan tuning and then set the minimum acoustic limit all the way to the right where it will say 1366mhz then restart your computer and the crashing issues should be fixed. reviewing the card it gets extremely warm and even manages to heat up my entire room (which is usually like an icebox) making me sweat A LOT although the heat is no issue to the GPU itself it is still something that should be considered. gaming performance is very good, Rainbow Six Siege runs usually at competitive settings 160-220fps a little higher with vulkan Warzone is the same with performance just above 100fps at high settings (you need 16gb of ram otherwise that peformance dips) if there is anything to take from this review its this, the GPU is great its low price and is fairly decent and it CAN play essentially any game your willing to throw at it but you need good fans and air circulation.

my review
It's a good graphics card, no problems.. 60-70C in the games. But still good and no problems.

Well priced entry level card, known to have clock speed issues
This is a cheap and cheerful graphics card which can handle most games in the triple A platform, although at reduced FPS/Specs depending on your preferences of lighting/bloom/v-sync etc. It is completely acceptable for an entry card into gaming and will cover the user for their first few years before upgrading to something better. My only issue with the card is that it would crash frequently when trying to run multiple programs like video streaming and gaming at the same time. The issue lies with the overclocking feature of the card, which kicks in when under load and causes issues. The work around as of 2024 was to limit the maximum clock frequency of the card using the manufacturer provided software (on their website). Although this was not always successful. Treat this card as an entry level card and do not try to push it too far. Verify the issue using a forum of your choosing to confirm the above.

GPU
This GPU is great for the fact its a few generations behind and it runs many games on medium to high quality. Only downside is the fans are a little loud.

Solid gpu
Good value for money. Runs games at high fps in FHD. can play less intensive games at 4k in about medium settings

It does indeed work... with some constraints on AMD's part.
Though buying it here might not be as cheap as newegg, you have amazon's wonderful return policy to work with, for at least a while. The card itself works well, to reassure anybody who might be on the fence or needs a video card as soon as possible. A replacement card for my now dead 970 from newegg arrived DoA (One of those 100 buck sapphire 470s), so, out of panic, knowing that my RMA would probably take something along the line of two weeks, I snatched one of these bad boys up at a small premium compared to the offers on other sites. It arrived swift, as per usual, and it plugged in and got working right away. Honestly, I love it, i'd say its right on par with my old 970 at a very agreeable price. To anyone who hasn't looked at in depth performance reviews, one of these cards is able to handle pretty much every recent game, except overly resource-hungry modern titles, at a comfortable 40-60+ fps depending on the setting of your choice and whether or not you add additional shaders. Coming from anything below a 970, whether it be an r9 series, 7xx, radeon xxxx, you should be rather satisfied with one of these cards. I recommend them especially at this price point. I'm not sure if it's posted anywhere on this product page or brought to attention well enough, but you do get a selection of two out of three games coming out soon, so assuming you're interested in the division 2, DMC5, or resident evil 2, this could potentially be a very smart move so you don't have to purchase those any more. Small(large) edit: So, apparently I thought I was having issues with this thing once I switched to a 1440p monitor; however, there is a pretty gigantic quirk that I thought might bring light so some common complications with this card. This card is best for 1080p gaming, period. However, with 1440p it can work, but there is a bit of a complication with how AMD gpus tend to work in general lately, especially the Polaris line, which this card belongs to. You may notice that sometimes under intense load that your screen might flicker. This brought me no end of annoyance at first, but I discovered that you basically have to go into global settings (under "Gaming") with radeon's software and tab into wattman to do some editing. At the bare minimum, without any other adjustments, you need to adjust the power limit on this card to around +20%~ or more if it has to do any heavy lifting, otherwise it will throttle one way or another with differing symptoms. Amd has thrown out a bunch of efficiency software and tuning which end up under powering your card where it may need it in desperate times. This isn't overclocking, but this does actually allow for proper overclocking, if you don't wish to proceed any further than this, you don't need to. I'm not sure why they thought it would be wise to essentially choke this thing for power right out of the box, but it seems to be a reality. My card works as it should now 1440p, but do monitor temperatures with HW monitor, and adjust the fan speed curve as need be, just to be certain (My case has awful airflow). Wattman can be a fantastic utility, so utilize it! Just be sure you have enough power to back the card up, I do fine @ 550W and an i5 6600k, but you should plan out your power usage just as a precaution. Knowledge is power!
