My son needed one of these for his Duke of Edinburgh expedition. He said it was very nice and filling and kept him warm. Fast delivery. Would buy again for any future trips.

These are ideal for winter hikes to get a bit of warmth into you. They taste ok but can get a bit messy. Also for what they cost the portion size is quiet small. The only advantage I can see to using the boil in the bag is you get some hot water left over to make either a tea or coffee with.

When I opened the packet I thought it looked awful but I gave it a go and found it very tasty and adequate for my main evening meal. it's a hearty food and whilst at home in the kitchen it's worth adding some greens to it or even other pieces of meat. I like it and the £6.49 price it makes it a penny cheaper than a meal from Charlie Bigham meals for one! lol. I've ordered more as it gives me opportunity to add things to it without the prepping faff.

Very convenient option for outdoor activities. It’s useful that the meal can be eaten either hot or cold. It is very tasty and filling as compared with many other brands or ration-style boil in the bag meals.

Brilliant idea but not particularly nice food nor good value

Quick postage and items as described. Food pouches bought for 10 Tors training were really quick and easy to use. Some brands take a while to rehydrate & cook, not ideal when you’re cold, wet and tired & want something hot, fast! Thanks guys!

Brought 2 breakfasts for a festival and they were ok. Tastes a bit like sausage and beans from a can with a few extra bit in but was fine for what I needed. Heats up in hot water so you just need a pan. Saves washing up if you do it that way.
