Great little motoring device!
Cheap enough to buy one for each car.Yes there were more expensive digital versions available but for the amount of times you will use it they are overkill. This does what its supposed to, is small, cheap and easy to use.Don't waste money on features you dont need!Would purchase this again!

A perfectly adequate, functional device at an affordable price.
Overall, I'm well pleased with this purchase and recommend it as a "good to have" in your car boot.Bought this a replacement to my old halfords twin barrel footpump which started to show sqeaking mouse-like traits. Was at first a little suspicious of it's capability and endurance due to the price ( paid around £10 for it ) which was less than some of the manual pumps I looked at. The expression "No Brainer" is well suited to this compact compressor - but that's exactly what this is.Out of the box the unit dimensions are retained since it cutely self contains the 12v cigarette lighter style plug/cable and the air line is also hidden away in it's own compartment. Unlike some units, where it is almost impossible to return the cables and hose into their respective 'tidy holes', this unit is simple to repack, put back in it's box, and it takes up very little storage room. The other features I liked was the unit has an On/Off button and a screw-in arline connector which seemed far better than the usual "trigger cap" style valve connectors.Operationally - yes it's probably a bit slow, although I have nothing of the same to compare it against, but certainly does the job efficiently, (I wouldn't necessarily say quietly) but does the job required and at the price ? - it's well worth just a few extra seconds wait. I would recommend keeping the car running if using this pump to inflate tyres from flat - but then that applies to any device of this type. Also the inbuilt pressure guage should ONLY be used as a general indication. On mine it is not an accurate reading and I I have found it to show less than actual pressure.

Simple but effective
I bought this when my (Halfords) two barrel manual foot pump for the car broke after a year or so and the replacement single barrel (Michelin) one never even worked! I still like having a manual pump (I have now have an very cheap discount store single barrel one and so far so good) but having had to rely on a neighbour seeing me struggle and fetching their compressor I realised that I needed both.I did a bit of research beforehand and chose this make as a manufacturer of decent compressors at a fair price. Some of the branded or automotive organisation tie-in ones are stupidly priced and yet offer nothing more really. This is a simple model but that fits my needs. It stores away neatly and now lives on the boot of the car with the manual pump and tyre pressure gauge.PROS:At just under £12 this is very good value in my opinion. It works! Not had to use in anger so far (thankfully) just topping up the pressure but it's okay for that.Stores away neatly.CONS:nothing really - I know others have questioned it accuracy but I still use a manual gauge to verify the tyre pressures.Long-term reliability is a matter of wait and see I guess, but if manual pumps are anything to go by then big brands and more expensive pumps (or compressors) do not necessarily equate to better reliability and if I am going to have to buy twice I would rather pay less for the privilege.OVERALL:I can only comment in respect of my own fairly low usage, but I have found this compressor pump to work okay and be a neat, small and easy to store package. I tend to use it as a back-up to manual pump being old-school but I am pleased to have it there for that purpose juts in case. I can recommend it, albeit somewhat cautiously, as I know that others will use theirs much more often and thus will be testing it more thoroughly.

Just the Job
I've had 2 punctures recently, each fortunately slow ones and near enough to get home, but I got to thinking: if/when that happens again do I want to change a wheel (I'm old-fashioned enough to carry a spare), or would I rather pump it up and get to my destination and take stock there? I decided on the latter, which is why I bought this. It's small and light enough to carry with other necessities in the boot. It's obviously not of the robust construction necessary for professional use, but I was pleased to see that the one used by the guy on the YouTube video I found (the pictorial instructions that come with it are far from clear) was battered and well-used, he said it was 10 years old and had always worked perfectly.I've used mine only the once, just so that I know how to work it. I dare say that the gauge is accurate, though I use a separate one. Plug it into the outlet in the car. The lead is plenty long enough to reach all the wheels, unless you drive a stretch limo. It's important to remember to screw the nozzle on all the way until you hear the "pfft" that tells you that the valve is open, press the button (there's only one!) and wait. I must say it was pretty loud and took a good minute or so to put in 2 or 3 p.s.i. so I suppose it would take 10 minutes or more to inflate from flat but that's perfectly acceptable on what I hope will be the rare occasions when I use it.Useful, easy to use and good value.

Ring tyreinflate
I bought The ring tyreinflate about 3 to 4 weeks ago, only used it for the first time today 1/7/2026, brilliant piece of kit, a little bit noisy but works great 👍

nice item, but Slooooooow and the cable is quite short
Using this to bring the pressure of my truck up by 5 bar..and lordy its slow. Ive always had one of these in my vehicles, and never has one been so slow . Additionally I went to use it in my car. The power point for the car is only in the boot. and the way its fitted I can reach the front tyres ! So ok for a truck, and not for a car. I dont know if its a short cable or a standard one...but I`ll have to source another for the car. Oh, and its a standard car....not a limo.

A bit noisy but so far, so good
[UPDATE 6 Nov 2020. Unless there is a problem, this will be my final update as the pump is now more than a year old. The latest lockdown prompted me to check the tyre pressures. All of them had lost a few pounds so I used the pump again. All was well and the pump was used to restore the pressure on all eight tyres without missing a beat. If it wasn't so noisy and fiddly to attach to the valve, I would give it 5 stars][UPDATE 12 Jan 2020. I tried the pump again today. Although none of tyres really needed to be 'topped up', I decided to pump them up a bit anyway. The pump worked fine and is now three months old. I will check again in 3 to 6 months. Original review and updates follow...][Update 15 Dec 2019. I tried the pump again today. Even though they didn't really need it, I decided to add a couple of PSI to each of the tyres on both cars. The pump worked fine. I would say it took about 1 min to add 2 PSI. Original review follows...][UPDATE 31 Oct 2019. I checked the tyres on the other car today and they all needed 'pumping up'. The front tyres needed about 10PSI each which took about 3 min per wheel. The pump worked flawlessly.Original review follows...]Every few months, I like to check the tyre pressures on the cars. That is all well and good but what do you do when one of the tyres has actually got a bit low and needs pumping up? I used to use a foot pump but recently came to the conclusion that this was far too much effort and takes too long when an electric pump would do the same job in a fraction of the time. The only trouble was that pumps provided with the cars are usually hidden away in a compartment in the boot and it is a bit bit of a 'faff' getting them out and putting them away afterwards. My solution was to buy a pump that I could keep in the garage and would be easy to get out, use and put away.I didn't want to spend too much on something that was really just a testament to my laziness but after reading several reviews on several devices, I decided to try the Ring RAC 610.Because it screws on to the tyre valve, it is a bit fiddly to attach and it does need to be quite tight to stop any air escaping. When in use, it did also strike me as quite noisy - not pneumatic drill levels but it would be very difficult to have a conversation while it is going. Fortunately, it only took about a minute or so to add about 4 PSI (which would have taken about 10 minutes with my old foot pump). The gauge did not seem particularly accurate - it was showing about 30PSI when my other gauges were showing 34. However as I always double check the pressures with a second gauge, this wasn't a particular issue for me but I wouldn't rely on the built in gauge if it is your only way of checking the pressure. All in all, in spite of the above, I still think this is a good pump for the money. My main concern is that some of the other reviewers have said that their pumps stopped working after a few uses. So, I will try to make an effort to use it every month over the winter and then update this review. In the meantime, I think 4 stars is a fair rating

Just perfect
I bought this for my car after replacing the run flat tyres with normal ones. It has so many good reviews. Now I know why. It’s well built and more powerful than most. What I also appreciated is the compact size. It perfectly fitted in my car’s accessory space. What really makes it stand out is that if you press the start button it automatically fills the tyre to 30 or equivalent. The you can kept holding the button for the exact pressure. Great for roadside emergencies.
