My wife bought me this thinking I wanted a new one, but i don't....I still have my very same old one from 20 years ago & its still going strong & trims well. I'll use this new one when this eventually dies.

I bought this as a stop gap when my last stubble trimmer broke and after reading some pretty favourable reviews. I have had it a few months now and have used it nearly everyday to maintain a short stubble, about 1 day's growth (0.4mm) which if used with no attachments it can do. It's not perfect as it will miss the odd hair but with a quick double check and retrim it is fine. The price too is a bargain, a lot cheap than most so for the money I would recommend trying it. My only criticisms would be it takes a long time to charge and lasts no more then a few days or so of shaving before it needs another charge. Also the build quality is not great, the on/off button feels like its going to come off and when shaving you can sometimes hear the speed changing and not because of the battery needing charging. To summarise it does a good job for the money but if you want perfection and a product that will last you a good few years perhaps look elsewhere.

Very pleasantly surprised how great this beard trimmer is, feels good in the hand and works easily . Looks well made and ergonomically made. And all this for about fourteen pounds , absolute bargain and would recommend.

Nice compact trimmer, I do not wet shaven, this is good if you don't like a perfect clean shaven look, 5 o'clock shadow is the shortest setting which is what I use twice weekly.

This Wahl trimmer is pretty much as you would expect from something of this price. Firstly, Wahl is a brand leader in male personal grooming and this is reflected in the quality of the product. In the box one receives the trimmer with a number of components for styling and grooming one's beard. They all appear to be of a high quality and after almost a year of use I can attest that the trimmer is still in full working order. The trimmer does allow for a wide range of facial hair upkeep and maintenance, and by removing all of the blades one can pretty much shave their beard off almost completely if looking for a cleaner look. What disappoints me about this product is the battery life. It seems that over the year it has deteriorated significantly. It used to be able to charge for half a day and would last for an hour of use - i.e. many weeks/months without needing further charging. At this point in time after every 5 minutes of use it needs another charge for 6 hours or so. With the amount of charging it requires it's probably costing me the same in electricity every month as just buying a new one from Wahl! I know that it's a lot cheaper than comparable products from Phillips etc so for those looking for a quick fix you might still find this product reasonable.

Okay so here's the thing, you're probably wondering "Wow! That's a great price and it seems pretty legit specially with all these lovely reviews and yeah I guess one or two are bad but what the heck it seems pretty good, totally gonna get that nice trim look I always wanted" no? Well that's exactly what I thought (bare in mind I barely have any facial hair anyways) I decided to go for it. When I first received it I thought it was pretty small, probably a plus, I'm not too sure how the size system works in terms of hair trimmers. I knew I had to charge it since it said made in China (and trust me you can really feel the wage-deprived people suffer when you grab the flimsy and plastic that is the handle). Once charged which took around 4 hours, God knows why, I took it for a test and man did it roar, almost made me genuenly scared (it did). Well I managed to used it without ripping my face to shreds and all was fine.... For about two weeks.... Now you're probably thinking "this dude must of had some serious facial hair or use out of it" well..... No. I used it around 3 times in these two weeks and when it came to the 4th it simply would not charge. Now I'm here, hairy and houling for a refund which I hope takes place soon since I don't think I can bare much of my prickly facial hair. So to sum it up, only buy it if you're 12-14 or planning to scare cats with its mighty roar for around 3 days, otherwise don't bother and spend a little more on something far more reliable. (Totally not mad)

Good quality considering the price, for me personally, the barbers take care of my my facial hair but this does help hold up the cut in between visits. My previous one last 4-5 years and I rarely kept on top of maintenance.

Very plastic, a few of the combs don’t fit into the blade…. Overall - feels very cheap.

Haven't had it that long but so far I'm pleased with the performance and the quality.

What i expected before buy,the same i feel now....its a amazing product..durable long life battery...the long lasting power has provide a long life to use.....once i recharged and i have been used more than 4 times and i never charge again in between the gap days... almost the period of 1 month..... 1.strongly agree the power back up(one time charge will come more time trimm) 2.Stronglly agree the reliablity of the machine. 3.Genuine product from amazon. 4.perfect fit for the very close trimm(i think none other machine can't give this close hair cut like a shave) 5.Attachments are nice to see but the plastic things wont come for the long life and blade replacement. Totally i feel a worth product.......for the worth price....enjoy

Easy to use portable clipper no power lead to get in the way. Cuts cleanly without catching hairs. Great for shaping and finishing at neck and ears.
