Is this okay for an ebike? Does it need to be rinsed with water? I'm planning to follow with wet lube. Thanks!

Yes it is OK on an E-Bike, although if the chains is really dirty a mechanical chain cleaner with degreaser works better. You will have to rinse off the degreaser with water, but before using wet lube on the chain use WD-40 or other water displacement products, which will help prevent water being trapped inside the links.

Does this repel water? I want to give my chain a thorough clean and then add a repellant to protect it from water and rust.

No this is a chemical degreaser. If you only use this without a chain lubricant you will have a rusty broken chain very quickly.

Why does this not ship to Northern Ireland . I have bought numerous other muc off products

Is this solvent based?

The description states it’s water soluble so I would say No, it’s not solvent based. I spray the chain, use 2 cheap bathroom nail brushes squeezed around the chain, repeat that again,,rinse with soapy water, let it dry and lube the chain. Stiff brush on chain set and gears. Small screwdriver to get rid of excess grime on derailleur. Job done, then notice how smooth it sounds and feels.
