How long does the re fill last? Mine is making a noise but I’m not sure anything is spraying so wondering if it needs a refill?

If you can not see the spray when you press the manual button then it is empty. My one lasts 4 to 6 weeks. When the batteries fail it will not work at all even if you press the button.

What direction does this spray in and how close do you need to be to activate the sensor?
