Easy to assemble and lightweight

I bought this in September 2016 and it has had fairly frequent use since then. There are plenty of cheaper models on the market, but I had previous experience with Elite Body Squad products and trusted in the brand.For those who don't know, ab rollers are an effective and challenging exercise for strengthening core muscles. Like any exercise, it's important that it is performed with the proper form, so it is a good idea to look up a few Youtube examples before trying to use one yourself if you're unsure.This particular model works well and seems to be well made, but I can't say that it's necessarily better in its function than cheaper models I have used. It's a fairly simple device and I don't think a domestic user would realistically need something this heavy duty - especially given the hefty price tag. The metal core also makes the item heavier, which is something to consider if you plan to travel with it.The mat that comes with it is perfectly adequate. It is, however, folded in two inside the box, so it's a good idea to flatten it out under something heavy before trying to use it and storing it somewhere flat when not in use, such as behind a cupboard.The biggest disappointment came when the branding started to peel away from the handles after only one use. I got in touch with customer services who were very quick to respond and politely offered me the opportunity to return the item or accept a 10% discount. Because the issue was purely cosmetic didn't compromise the use of the item, I gratefully accepted the discount. I think their customer services are very good, but this problem did raise doubts for me about the quality of Elite Body Squad products.Overall, the item works very well and I don't regret my purchase, but it may be sensible to consider cheaper alternatives first.

the wife has been using this now for nearly a month....she uses this to excercise every day....she said the build quality of the roller is excellent....was very easy to put together ....the roller and the mat came packed together in the same box...the lack of any kind of cardboard inner to protect the foam from the roller parts led to the mat being slightly damaged....this should be remedied with a cardboard inner around the mat or such like....i do know the mat was stated as free in the description...but even so it should arrive in the best condition....pictures below show...marks and crush from rollers onto mat....ive given the roller a few go's myself and im pretty big but within weight guidelines....and i can say that this will easily take up to max weight for roller as stated...the price i reckon is spot on in regards to the quality of the product....i highly recomend this ab roller for anyone who wants to tighten stomach muscles ...abs or whatever else they are used for....1star knocked off for squashed and marked foam mat....

The product arrived with no link for the pdf booklet and I was not strong enough to assemble it correctly.Within 10 minutes of my email to customer support I received the link to down load an excellent booklet, and some simple advice on using WD40 - which worked instantly! Customer transformed from unhappy to delighted by brilliant support service!

I've bought a few different items from Elite Body Squad now and I can't recommend them highly enough.For low cost sports and fitness equipment they really are at the top of their game.Everything I've had has been well made and high quality but at a fraction of the cost of Brand name products.This ab roller is exactly what you would want it to be. Out of the box it takes a matter of seconds to assemble, no fiddly nonsense, simply push the parts together and crack on.The knee pad is comfortable and the roller is sturdy enough that I'm confident it will not fail under my weight (I'm a little under 17st so you know this is a solid product).The eva grips are soft and comfortable with tonnes of grip so you know your hands aren't going to slip, the wheel it's is firm enough to work on carpets (if you have no choice) yet not so firm as to lose traction on wood or laminate flooring.Overall I really am happy and at that price I think anyone would.EBS don't pretend they're selling the Olympic standard, gold plated, all singing all dancing equipment that the world's best athletes have, but what you do get is exceptional quality equipment at fantastic, affordable prices for everyone from the January Gym club to the serious enthusiast.

I received the Ab Roller a few days ago and have only used it a couple of times so far, the intention being to use it dailyWhat I can say thus far is that I am very pleased with the products quality, It's very sturdy and doesn't seem to struggle under my considerable weight, I weigh around 110kg!The handles are well padded and comfortable and the assembly so easy.It seems to operate smoothly on both tiled and carpeted floor surfaces without undesired wobbling or slipping.The mat included with the roller is very thick, comfortable and small for someone of my stature but does avoid sliding aroundOverall, both Quality and function are rated high in my opinion. Now all I have to do is apply some discipline and work towards achieving my goals!!

I've been using this wheel for a few months and am pretty pleased with it. The broad double wheel is nice and stable and the handles are comfortable. It did shed little black bit for a while either from the handle padding or from the spindle but it seems to have stopped now and the wheel is performing fine. The mat is a little thin but seems to be adequate (I lay it on a carpet which gives extra padding, have not tried it direct on a hard surface).
